It was done by people under the name of Anonymous, but it was one of those instances where members of Anonymous were saying that it wasn't Anonymous while other members were saying it was. That whole incident was due to sony going mental and persecuting Hotz for hacking a PS3 to run linux when they had forbid it.

According to articles I've read, Davis (Tropiary) has been formally charged by the FBI for the Sony hack indicent. http://in.reuters.com/article/2012/03...Type=RSS&feedName=globalCoverage2

dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquarium

why do people marvel at Virus' "soulread"?
Maybe it's just because i never followed this affair and didnt know who Sabu was, so i didn't harbor any prior assumptions, or maybe i'm just not familiar with the way these guys converse; but in that conversation he sounds like one of lawyers for african royalty.

I guess Sabu not tweeting anymore is confirmation of this, its a sad day my friends, Sabu was the leader of Anonymous and one of the main guys in the Occupy Wallstreet movment, he turned out to be a pathetic spineless fuck.

So the government killed the hacking revolution, its over.

if it wasnt clear enough, most of you are not realizing how big it is, the "movement" is dead now, i always preached that it was going to fail and that they should hit the books more and the streets less but it still saddens me.

Shortly after the arrests a guy from pandasecurity (an IT security company) taunted Lulzsec with a blog post "Where is the lulz now?"

Within hours, 30 pandasecurity websites were defaced with a message to Sabu, and that guy's blog post ridiculed.

They didn't get all of them yet.

well tbh the movement was never alive and it was doomed to fail miserably thats what ive been saying since day 1, people are too idiotic and dont even know whats the cause of the problems and they just hit the streets begging the monster causing the problems to fix the problem, that is retarded.

Again this pathetic attempt at an insult, you can call me whatever you want, not ignorant my general knowledge far exceeds yours my friend so pick another generic insult that one just shows how dumb you are.

yeah Lulzsec and Anon remain however the betrayal was brutal morally, hackers will tip-top more now and the morale of an already stagnant movement was greatly hurt
