i bet they wont be able to withdraw right away

oh yeah, i didn't think about that. then there wouldn't be any new deposits coming in then cos that would discourage players coming in.

FTP = UB

I guess they will come up with some really sick promotions? They can't think players will just be happy they got their money back and continue to play there, can they?

BTW, Ferguson is not being charged? I thought his position was the same as Lederer's?

sick promotions? that won't help. but dealt rake system would get the regular players to play there.

Is this definitely news or still speculation? I read it as "negotiations are going smoothly, and if all goes according to plan, we'll open soon." No guarantee though.

From what I read the projected date was march 1st but a lot of people are saying that won't happen.

If I wasn't in the US I don't think I would have any problem playing on the new FTP.

Its time to stop thinking like a bitch and think smart like a poker player - ket

Its not the new owners fault that the old owners were greedy scumbags + degenrate gamblers + incompetent.

ut it

you would think about differently if you had 6 - 7 figures trapped there. i don't have that much on there and i still feel the same as khan,

FTP the new UB.

i would wait for a while before playing there regularly. after all the bashing ftp got from the media i don't think recreational players will be flocking to play there.

all you would be playing with are the same people who have money trapped on there. and the funny thing is you might not even have the ability to withdraw. so what's the use?

highly doubt even regs would keep a substantial amount on there: assume a dedicated regs' current trapped roll is 50k, I see him taking out 45k and leaving 5k to grind lower limits with and build up very slowly. the reason I think this is b/c the amount of stress/agony in seeing your funds trapped again after being tricked into trusting them isnt worth more than 10% of what you had there originally

i am 93% sure the withdraw button is disabled by at least 3 months when it comes online next month.

ideally you would hope only like 23 ppl join and grind penny tables just to make it look even worse

Well other than the fact that I do not plan on playing on FTP at all because of SNE, I don't think it's going to be a very bad idea to play there. They'll probably dish out some good rewards in the beginning to get their player pool back and there's a lot of people missing stuff like rush poker and the good software obviously.

I'm just going to cash out the $5300 I had on there when it's available and hope to get it back.

I can understand being iffy of people playing on the site because the new owners haven't dealt with the payments yet, but considering your money unsafe there is just ridic. Look up the new owners plz, it's more legit than pokerstars by far. ;o
