The way society defines success is fairly laughable. If we are looking at it from that POV then obviously we'd include looks, what car you drive, ability to woo opposite sex, social skills etc...

Ok lets get real since everyone wants a discussion

I dont think everyone is retarded, most people are just average intelligence and they compare with each other using very similar models namely the one i used (Int, Money, Persverance, Health and as rainkhan mentions, looks and then slightly more superficial things such as car one drives or house one lives in). I think most people are smart enough to realise that somethings on that list is less important than others, you dont need to be a genius for example to realise that a guy driving a hyundai 3car isn't nessacarily inferior to someone driving a BMW because like I mentioned there are more important things than how good the car you drive is.

So I guess what im trying to say is, it isnt retarded to measure yourself using societies criterion, because im not using the retard model, im using what non retards think is important.

Money, Int, Health, Hardwork, Values, Morals and I think i am better than most people in it, thus I feel superior. Now hang on before you judge. Im not saying im the most awesome person I know, hell im far from it and I know i have plenty of places to improve in. For example,

I know a guy called Phillip, and he is a NASA ceritfied astronaut, who in his uni days got 99% in double degree engineering courses and has also made like 400k in poker in a year then quit coz he doesnt give a shit about money. The guy juggles like a beast and rock climbs for a passion, and is one of the most straight up honest guys I know. So he has me crushed in every field I and most of society deem as important criterion as a way to measure superiority.
In contrast I also know a guy and I'm not gna name names this time, who dropped out of Highschool, dealt drugs, ended up in jail and how receives goverment pay while doing labour work. Ok he is likely to be superior than me in some areas, like Lifting weights, self defence and I'm actually struggling to find another thing he would be superior to me to, but lets for humour say he is likely to have a bigger dick because he isnt asian. This guy is probably 1 in 100,000?
Now my last example, I'm gonna use an average joe, someone who passed highschool, scraped by uni with an median score, who is working in a office job with a pay of 35k a year dating a normal girl, and who has a passion of say watching the rugby on the weekends and going out drinking on friday nights and saturday nights with friends. I'd say Im superior to him in, int, money, hardwork and now even health. But yes there are things he is superior than me in, forexample he can beat me in a beer chugging contest, he might have better values, he probably owns a car, but I believe there are superficial things.

To sum it up I've tried very hard and applied my self in areas of life which most of society has deemed to be important and in most cases have come out ahead~ I ain't saying im a genius or somebody that deserves praise because i've changed the way this world works or something. I reckon I am just far better than the average person in what counts in life.

And people for fuck sakes,

I am a 26 year old with self made 2million dollars who is amongst the best players in his country and amongst the elites in the world in his profession. I work from home yet I spend loads of time travelling and seeing the world. I am healthy, I am in love and I have amazing relationships with my family and close friends.

So give me a break for fuck sakes, If I cant feel superior now then please list what the minimum requirements I need to meet to say I am superior than most of the world.

I don't, view your post as an insult at all. It has a very different taste to it than some of the ones which were meant to be insults.

Anyway, I agree definition is the key here, but I disagree that it is primitive to compare amongst people in society. If I never compared, I would have never got to where I am today.
