more leaned toward flat if HU, more leaned toward flat if more dry. Much more lean toward raising when 3 way, or wet board.

Think at higher stakes there are lots of arguments for flatting. But on these stakes ppl usually raise when they spaz or think they ahve best hand, they can do it 99+, X8, and usually get it in with any Flush draw, so its ok on lower stakes to raise get it in.

But at higher when ppl can have really good c/r raises, 18% n stuff, and mixing it in well, we get very face up when we only raise get it in with the nuts, which ppl do, a 3b raise is virtually never ever a bluff. So that might be why ppl flat more in these types of spot a little higher.

Im just rambling, not saying anything propper lol

hehe ok. I agree that 3way raising is probably better, to avoid people drawing cheap

still not sure vs an unknown hu, if it's better to flat or raise. guess it doesn't matter that much? as hu the money is going in pretty much always?

unless perhaps a spade turn comes

man i'm rusty i feel this should be some sort of no brainer ;(

Nothing is a no-brainer. Better rusty than stagnant.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

I like a call and jam over a potential bet from him on turn.

call call call or small 3-bet are fine

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

fold pre. dont think 33 is playable from utg in 6max

this is a really tough spot imo. against a possible random im calling then going with it on a blank turn but i am not feeling great about it. against a solid NL25 reg this is probably a fold or a call once then fold the turn to just protect yourself if hes ever merging here and then slowing down on turns. youre 135bb deep in a 4 way pot in a spot where hes often setmining and youre probably up against a set like 50-60%. id imagine against any reasonable range vs that player type youre like 30%.

not to mention the rake in an all in pot between the two of you is going to be 12bb lol, so you have to take that into account and means that you probably have to be in significantly better shape vs his range than you do normally to make this +EV.

obviously dont fold vs a random who can show up with a much wider range than a solid reg, but in general just cause you have a set and you feel like you are in some "well if i lose i get coolered spot" doesnt mean you cant maneuver your way out of it. all of this illustrates why i think this is a fold pre
