his range is so wide on this river...since he would be cbetting 100% on this board and raising about 80% on the BTN.

check call would be standard.

bet 1.5 call raise if you think he will raise weak bets

pretty much unknown doesn't buy in full steal some 50% buttons so far to 3bb, unlikely to be a HU player.
we are hoping for him to try to rep the flush draw when we cc river right? (or click buttons)

i think vs unknown this is an easy c-f unless he bets pretty small, he can't put you on air and every draw hit, thinking he'll try and rep the flush or whatever is just playing guessing games without reads.

+1
I d prolly call if i know im playing with the guy for couple hundreds of hands in the future
And only reason to bet here would be bet something smallish like 2$ and expect him to spew a lot so you can call if he raises

yeah that seems fine. The problem with $2 is that he's unknown not-good and I'm not sure if I'm inducing or just self owning myself

do you still like c/r if villain bets 70-80% pot? i realize he "can't" have a boat and c/r shows a good profit if he's bet-folding any ace, i'm just wondering about whether a 50nl player who doesn't buyin full is folding all the hands he's supposed to vs a c/r.

Yeah that's the problem, he is very likely a bad player

c/c and b/f 2$ is super spewy I think its pretty rare he will bet/call with worse here and he will obviously never fold anything better unless you bet more than pot here so id much rather overbet to like 10 or 12 or just go the safe route of c/f'ing

c/f to a much bigger bet

yeah i think it'd still work.

i feel weird about betting small because there isn't much we get value from and if anything i'd rather bet with the intention of folding out other Ks
