i think with pot odds and just basic hand combinations + some common sense of what hands fish actually valuebet on this river after betting 1/3pot on turn it's a semi-standard call. i'm not trying to take anything away from his call, just saying it's a solid logical play imo.

oh the turn lolz

i think it's sort of the same principle but a little trickier b/c some fish will just bet that size with any pair or ace high just because, but the sizing would still make it weighted towards draws i think.

I see random pairs all the time with this sizing at micros, I guess it depends on the fish

No way is the fact that the only read is he calls a lot of cbets going to justify this.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

Villain is loose 59/20. Eventhought he didn't played all that passive postflop, my read on him was that he would just check back flop with a draw. So i kind of treated KQ similar to A high, trying to go to showdown. his small bet on the turn was kind of weird since i thought that if he had anything on the board he would make a bigger closer to potsize bet, which is what i have seen him do with complete air and made hands. plan was to call turn and if river blanks call river bet. River wasn't a total blank, but then he made the river bet so small that he only had to bluff a small % of the time to be correct.

note: probably just sounds like a lame excuse to unleash my calling station tendencies, but timing, betsizing etc.. all just felt weird when the hand played out, and i didn't feel like folding turn.
