check TP oop

donk bet 0/2
call open 22%, 2/8 in BB
I was opening wide

He doesn't rep anything, I saw him check good TP in the same spot previously, but just once, I still can't see how he would take this line with a set like this, so it's like 1-2 combos of his range?
QT is pretty much completely discounted with the read and my wide opening and high cbet.

His range just seemed so draw heavy...he needs just a couple combos that I just couldn't find a fold on the turn, and I can't fold river...is this that terrible?

people lead sets/combo draws as well as weaker draws imo

the fact that he likes to c/r turn i would think would indicate more towards monsters esp @ this limit.

on turn you have to ask yourself is it more important to protect my stack or my hand. i would think most players at this limit know its bad to c/call with a draw and would just bet it out on the turn. therefore turn range is stronger imo. esp since Q is a good barrel card as well if u have wat u have

if you're gonna fold anywhere it's the turn.

and if you call that turn and hit the nuts what do you expect people to say?

his line is super weird.. he might play draws or bluff hands like this but I would think his range is a little more weighted towards monsters like QT (he didnt bet it in a similiar spot which makes it a bit more unlikely) and a narrow range of sets/some weird flop or turn 2p, maybe QQ). looks like a guessing game.
it will be a tough spot on so many rivers and your hand just isnt good enough to continue ott imo you can comfortably fold this part of your range

Yeah turn is the street in question, plan was to fold or call+call a lot of rivers

Why did you pot the turn? I dont like it in most cases. Otherwise played fine imo.

I usually think he has the nuts on the turn and fold, i guess a smaller bet would be optimal (2 - 2.50 or something) since he would call with a stupd draw often and then you know you have the best hand.
but fold the turn, there are a better spots to get your money in
