as for the call, id call only if hes really bad and agro because 90% of ppl are going to just call river with a 9 (obv 2 pairs and sets probably just gonna call as well)
if hes stupid enough to shove a 9 or if hes agro enough to bluff this river which is usually unlikely, id call, but otherwise i'd probably bet around your size/fold here vs most

chibuzo not to be mean. but how are u ever going to come up with a proof that justifies check/call on this river over betting. i really dare you to come up with a single reason why checkcalling is ever good ;o. there is nothing that really missed except KQ that he is going to bluff with. and a fish or reg at these stakes for that matter is never turning anything into a bluff almost ever. theres like no 1 reason that checkcalling is ever good imo except to checkraise and get a stack from a 9 that would otherwise flat. However obviously he has 2pairs and stuff a lot so betting is superior.
dont overthink things. and also your asking the worst question. Ur questioning ur bet because ur afraid of having to fold so thus you think must of done something wrong. Your falling into very very big fish mentalities. What you should be asking is. SHOULD I FOLD THIS RIVER? but checkcalling is just a complete fish cop out imo because u have a big hand and you want to get to showdown because your scared of losing. i hope this helps even tho it SOUNDS mean but i really am trying to convey important points here. Get a hold of these bad mentalities and snuff them out. Dont think like a normal person with emotions.
