however reason for not 3betting pre is? reason for not donking flop is...going for a c/r?

donking is fine, you many confuse him into a call w/ worse cuz the way you played the hand makes no sense in any way

dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquariumLast edit: 02/11/2009 15:33

As cute and deceptive as it is to call KK from the BB I think I'd 3-bet.

As played I'd fold turn or open fold river.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.

I c/r'd him last orbit on my bb vs his btn so I thought twice in a row might do the trick? I 3bet here like 99% of the time><

lol I did c/c but well he didn't bet and checked KQ.. should of 3b pre obv -_-

Status at the poker tables is worth far more than money. You don't want to be thought of as a poker table pussy.

i have got punished for not 3btting so much here that i 3b 99,9% here. but i'd donk fold here

terrybunny19240   United States. Nov 02 2009 15:50. Posts 13829

haha no that isn't why its because I figure he would connect the dots of me x/r'ing him with real value hands he would lose any suspicion of me

my thinking might be wrong tho

yah i'm not kidding this is like the only time i haven't 3b here for a month solid

I think he's more likely to think "hah, whenever this guy 3bets me he has krablar, I'm gonna call every 3bet and fuck with him".

Anyhow, I like a donk on the flop as A hi checks back a lot but is gonna call 100%, and random trash might bluff raise who knows.

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 02/11/2009 16:26

yeah I think flop donk is way better and I'm disappointed with myself, to be honest I was just like "hell yeah gonna check raise again hell yeah helllll yeah he's going to get a lot of money in with 88 or rebluff with draws or atleast call with an A its going to be soooooooooo awesome"

I like to lead this flop because its not very cbetable and very A hi checkbackable. As played Id c/f the river, when he checks back the flop his range is pretty weighted toward A hi or like A3,A4 which you beat none of, I dont think he would check this back with an ovp and then decide to go for value on these cards.
