i understand the basic logic behind the v/b, that if he raised w/ a decent ace pf, he'd be tossing out a bet on either turn/river (since board was so nice)

i'm just a little curious why he couldn't play AJ/AT this way in this spot?

i think he'd play AK/AQ more aggressively since he took the lead pf

but http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/261931 this hand kinda stuck out in my mind a little. plus, i saw him check the JT flush to you when you overbet the river as well. what makes you not so scared of a strong ace (or any ace) in this situation? or, do you just suppose that the probability of him having some insane set/weak ace calldown is soo small that vbetting your Q seems totally safe?

(also what about KK?)

he checked turn
if strafe is playing crazy lag
I doubt he wants to give him free cards

yeah, i get the underlying logic of why he'd bet the ace vs laggy play.

however, its the history i'm a little confused about. twice now i've seen chiefs check/call big bets from straate w/ decent to strong hands. i'm wondering why chiefs couldn't be making a similar play here
