Good fold?
And my large bet on the flop was to push anyone off their flush draw. Am I right in doing so? |

if youre the first one to enter the pot, always raise. dont just limp, this is called open-limping and it's bad. so you either raise or you fold. small pocket pairs you might limp first though (i dont) im not sure how people do on lower limits and fullring
and when you continuation bet on the flop, dont bet 2x the pot... remember your bets should be proportional to the pot and if the pots are small like this you can just go ahead and bet pot
this fold was good i think... it was a limped pot, and even though you bet enourmosly i'm quite sure he could've called with a flushdraw on flop
and you dont want to push them off their flush draws, just give them bad odds to draw (meaning if they make that same call over and over again, they'll lose money whereas you will win money) |
