i would have to hold the poleaxe irl to get a good idea of what it feels like but probably yes w/the dog for 1 billion dollars, probably no w/o dog.

i'd also do it for like 80 million since the difference in utility of 80m and 1b for me seems trivial.

i wonder how usefull the dog really would be. Does a silverback even care about a dog bite?
Obviously not useless (can at least distract the silverback or be used as bait) but idk how usefull he really would be.

But i think it would be easier if the silverback charges the dog and while it kills the dog, you hit it in the neck, because the picture above is done against a wolf, but i have doubts it would work against a silver back lol.

ya i think the dog is supposed to jump on him and bite his nose/face/eyes whatever while you get a few really good shots in on his temple or whatever the thinnest part of their skull is? even though the dog doesn't pose any real threat to the gorilla a well-trained dog can be fucking vicious, i have to think it would at least be a pain in the ass for him.

it's not like the dog is going to face the gorillla head on, it will run around it b/c it's quicker than the gorilla and jump on its back/head and bite its face. obviously the gorilla will eventually grab the dog off and rip its body in half but it should be enough time for you to get a couple good slashes in.

this is assuming a couple strong blows from a poleaxe to the right spot on the skull is enough to go through it and have a decent chance of killing the gorilla, if not it's a moot point of course.

youd have to use it as a pike and do 1 really good stab. If you missed you'd be fucked. If you impaled it, you might still be fucked because the gorilla could still kill rip your jaw off in 2 seconds before dying. So you'd have to do 1 stab that insta paralyzies the gorilla, it would have to be through the brain or spine i guess. I guess if you miss your first leathal shot the dog could intervene and die for you, giving you enough time for a 2nd chance.

Gorilla charge at you, you "implale" it but the gorilla still manage to nearly kill you. Then the dog barks and jump at the gorilla before it ends you. Gorilla still has upper hand, but, with your last breath, you use your haleberd and the sun to blind the gorilla, and the dog use that time to bite the gorilla's neck and wins.

You win. After a few months you recover from your wounds and you have 1 billion.

i'd only consider it if I had a well trained silver back protecting me, instead of a dog lol. if the silver back decides to attack me first, he'll kill me in 2-3sec -_-

i don't think a poleaxe would help at all
