My friend is hosting a Swedish exchange student and the student is organizing a live NLHE cash game for all the Swedes in the program and my friend's friends (i.e. me).
Any tips on how to outplay these guys?

If they play anything like they do online I'd say wait for a hand and let them spew off. You may lose many smaller pots but as long as you maintain composure and pretend like you're playing into their game you're +ev.
There have been many times where I've been 50/50 on calls but have made them because location: Swedish city. Never fails. |

It was clear to me from the get-go I was outclassed by the northern europeans. I stayed in the game to milk money from the other non-swedes. I was up a buyin until the hand at the end of the night really hurt me
