overalll, the habs played a fucking kiss ass series i thought. if they can keep up that calibre, i expect them to take the pens out for sure.
that being said, we should probably trade halak for a top notch player ASAP - montreal has a habit of getting a SWEET season from one of their young goalies and then they immediately fuck the dog hard the next yr.. and the year after (huet/price).
i mean, if halak could keep it up.. definitely keep him. but i'm guessing he'll pull another huet/price.
am so glad they finally got rid of their old gm, he had to be one of the worst traders ever.
also - ahahahahaha at their goal that called off... man that felt good to get a big call our way that shouldn't have been called. that could very easily have made it a W for the caps |
