actually i had a poker burnout some days ago ...
I played 12K hands in 4 days 10 tabling 6 max Nl50 having decent profits 525$+
5th day i started the session and begun with a nice + 110$ within the first 1030 hands 
but then suddenly i got burned out , played liek a maniac and almost lost sanity ....
continued for another 3K hands or so playing like a monkey feeling like on drugs ...
ended the day - 200$
lolz never had this before ...
everything felt like completely unreal
playing too many hands too many tables can make u crazy
i took a few days off poker and returned today
8 tabling a relaxed 905 hands session on Nl506max doing + 109$
was actually up +220 at some point but then i stopped after this ridiculous hand.

Late position player is a reg who is quite agressive and we have some decent 3 bet history
He raises LP i have AQs in small blind and 3 bet him to 5.50
he calls
flop 7QX flushdraw
i bet he raises i call
turn Q
we get it in and he shows 77

Yeah I got that all the time, I'm glad I am not alone :D
Like you think something in your hand but do something completely different and then wonder wtf have you just done.

Yes, these periods can last up to 3 hours and are the only reason why I am still at lowstakes :D
ANY play is good if you are able to write down on a piece of paper (You know why you play that way) as you learn in the process, but these brainless periods where you can write down only reasons against yourplay are pure waste of time( and money) |
