One of those sessions where you feel you've played really well and made some good decisions that were well thought out but end up being screwed by the fish. 1000-ish hands and 3 buyins down when I really felt I'd played well.

^^^^Yep.

First hand I feel ok about. Actually - I put him on exactly what he had and needed to hold more than 40% of the time in a pretty much 50:50 flip.

yes, if you know he has exactly AK with a diamond then stacking off is good, but you have to consider his entire range, which is crushing your hand.

I understand what you're saying but my thought process was along the lines of:

1. Considering his aggressive but taggy stats I could not see him not raising a draw there.
2. If he had the made flush would he raise hoping I would call with an over pair and no diamond or was he just wanting to take the pot right there? It's a 3bet pot - there isn't a problem getting the money in by the river so why raise now?
3. Could this even be a bluffs from an aggressive player (AF=6)?

Flawed?

His entire range is either made flushes, exactly what he had or bluffs from an aggressive player. I guess it depends if you put buffs in his range as to whtehr his entire range crushes me?

Probably just as well I quit..........

Off to bed but appreciate comments even those saying definitely a spew fest...

you forget to include AA/KK in his range. i just think unless hes bluffing with absolute air, his range has soo much equity.

and if you have a small sample as you say, i think youre reading too much into the 6 AF.

hm maybe make a thread though? im interested in what better players have to say, i might be wrong.

Not sure it is thread worthy - think you are probably right. I think AA/KK is hardly ever part of his 3bet flatting range at NL25 though - I expect most to 4 bet nearly 100% of the time and even a relatively small sample would suggest he is aggressive (even if AF 6 is skewed).

Will think about a thread tomorrow.

Thanks for the comments.

WHAT?

Hand 1 is easy stack off and it's not close. Overpair in a 3bet pot is not worth a thread.

Hand 1 we have to stack off imo, it's a bad flop for us but I'm not folding QQ on a T high flop after putting in 1/3 of my stack.
