Its all about discipline + adjusting vs players who are on table. Value bet donks to death , abuse nits + dont get fire vs fire fights.

As soon as I started watching videos and reading more about poker, I started losing as well. I've been on a 50k hand down swing. I don't see how it makes anysense.

Im also in the same situation, in my opinion i crush everyone upto 100nl 6max, yet i've been fucking breakeven for the past 50k hands .

What stakes are u playing? Probably low / middle and u started overthinking and playing over-agro.

Sample's too small, even for low stakes. I was down ~10bi over 50k and now I'm doing fine and moved up to 100nl. Check blog for stats.

byrne: since u said that i havent really contributed, let me help you out.
judging from your analysis and graph, i'd say you are playing abt nl25. you have low emotional aptitude = tilt basically. i'd suggest you take a break for a lil bit. during the break, review some of the hands and get into your thought process at the time and understand if it was right. look up your opponents stats. did he even have a decent sample size to use it as a template? how did i play AK preflop? do i defend liberally? what is costing me these pots? if u know the optimal way to play or at least an idea of it, play that way. the optimal should be ABC in these limits. the occasional funky play against a reg but thats IT. dont go overboard in a 3bet pot when u kno ur behind the majority of the time. pick ur spots to cbet. i dunno but u get the idea. gl hf on the tables

byrnesam I feel your pain. Just accept that this happens. It happens to me all the fucking time, but in the long run I'm winning. And like someone else said, vpp = money. So if you're breaking even and making vpp you're still making money.
