(if you're trying to dl it right after I post this, I think the link isn't actually available til a couple minutes-hours later)
I uploaded a video on my play on NL25.
I two table and I think it's about 72 minutes, but I compressed the file so it's like 100 mb smaller.
If anyone would like to watch it and post some advice or leak fixes or just random comments, just post it.
Or maybe you're from a lower stake and you just want to see what NL25 is like or want to see how another player thinks.
I think Night did this and after some advice it seemed like he's just on a mega boom switch so maybe it'll help me? I'm life time 3.57bb/100 on NL25 and I always seem to get soul crushed at NL50 and I've been on small downswing on 25 for the month.
Also just recorded it to show some friends how I play who are still on micros, and watch my play in retrospect and maybe catch something like "Oh, what a terrible play, what was I thinking?"
But yeah whatever I don't remember any hands in particular since I finished my hand like a couple hours ago and I've been watching The Office, but I guess I can update tomorrow or whenever I watch my own session.
edit: 6max
I might do a 4 table video later on but I wanted to do only 2 on my first video to get used to everything and see if the pace is okay. I think I can do 4.
edit 2: I watched over the video and there weren't many big decisions, tough spots, or interesting situations. I'll make a 4 table session soon and hopefully they'll come up.

4 tables would be a lot better, 2 is just so few hands and boring to watch :/ |

Yeah I see one of his hands in the low stakes forum now. Still unavailable on megaupload and I'm headed to bed. I'll check it out tomorrow, probably at 3x speed or something. |

It still isn't available but it says it is 655MB!! I have just found how to make a 70 min vid 2 tabling about 150MB - with commentary. I will post instructions in the main forum for everyone. It's a bit of a pain in the butt but the space saved is worth it.
Edit: Posted here - should be worth looking at - will save you a huge amount of time and let you share a lot easier
Edit2: Ran your video through Virtual Dub - needed to change the audio compression to LameMP3 and chose a setting there (stupidly closed the application before saving the setting) but this reduced the video to 150MB - no noticeable loss of quality.
Downloaded the video and watching now - seems like you used Camtasia - in which case for my post just use the Codec and Virtual Dub parts (ignore the Camstudio stuff) - you will get the same compression benefits I think. Maybe with the codecs you can make it small through Camtasia anyway (never used it). |

everything worked fine for me, probably 4 tabling is a good idea since there is more to watch, but at least you explained yourself in most situations since u had time to do so
i should probably start using HEM or PT as well since every video ive seen so far has the stats for players
do you feel its a necessity for nl25? how much would it hurt to play without it?
overall i liked it, pretty solid
also, did you 6 max at nl10? if you did, what was your stats |

Ok - I watched about 45 mins - have to go to bed - will watch rest tomorrow if I can.
A few comments fwiw. I am getting DC coaching right now so just passing on some thoughts I guess!
Do you always open to 4x? That in itself is a leak I think. Fine from early but you don't need to put the extra BB in from CO/Button. Over time that is expensive. If you want to keep a standard open why not just use pot? Saves you 15c and makes no difference to whether they call/raise for the most part. I open to pot in all positions except the button where I 3x - sometime you get the feeling people are playing back more from the blinds but it is rare and you just adjust.
Timings approx:
27 mins - you had 45o and were checked to twice from SB fish, I think on the A turn you have a good chance to bet and will take it down 75% of the time. Fish don't often check twice with any hand and you were the PFR, it is easy to represent the ace and only have to get him to fold around 40% of the time with a $1.10 bet to be ahead (hopefully my math is solid - $1.1 to win $1.9)
The very next hand T9o - I think it is marginal completing Vs raising to isolate but I think donking here Vs uber nit to your left and the fish on the button is good. You talk about bluffing here not being profitable but really you are losing value here I think. It is a semi bluff where they may fold or when you hit you will win more than you will lose by taking this line, hitting and having no time to get value from your str8.
33 mins - you have 99 on a A67 dual tone board - I really believe it is a leak not to cbet here. I know he doesn't fold to a cbet much but you are often ahead, he sometimes will fold and you can bet again expecting to be ahead on any brick turn and he will mostly fold. Once you check you are giving up and 'hoping' to get to showdown still ahead. There are so many bad cards that can come on this board for you that he can represent.
35 mins - AJo SB - I really like 3 betting here Vs most villains, especially TAG regulars and I think a fold to 3bet stat is really useful. You talk of Foxwoodsfiend and him liking to flat a lot of aces OOP. This is fine for someone of his skill but I don't think we can do it profitably. Balugawhale says that there are 3 important parts of a hand, Card Advantage, Positional Advantage and skill advantage - ideal you want at least 2 on your side. Here we mostly have card advantage as AJo is a fairly strong hand and ahead of his button raising range, but not so good OOP and not in a multiway pot (which you invite by flatting making it easier for the BB to call) - we do not have the skill advantage of Belugawhale and Foxwoodsfiend etc I don't know - maybe you do - but I am sure I don't yet.
40 Mins - ATo - you wree the PFR Vs 2 fish who both have high fold to cbet stats and you have second pair - you have to cbet here imo to protect your hand - just $2.25 or soemthing like that - get raised and it's easy to dump, but you want to just check it down and hope you're ahead by the river?
You made a comment about not playing SC's as you think they are difficult to play. I think they are very easy if you can get in cheaply - especially versus competent players. They are capable of making stacking hands whereas AK TPTK type hands won't stack decent players. I think they are easy to play as you either hit or you don't. When you hit a big draw you can play it relative to the opponent and board texture. And when you hit you can win a big pot as your hand will be quite well disguised, when you miss you lose a very small pot.
Anyway I hope these comments were useful. I will look at the rest of the video tomorrow. If you don't want any review from me then no problem - I won't be offended as I am far from a green star....
