Well after my 5th > - 10BI day in the last 5 months ... i am kinda clueless if i should even continue poker ...

Its always the same .....

When i run good -> win average 3-4 BI session
when i run normal -> win average 1-2 BI session
when i run bad -> lose average 7 BI session

i am well aware of that problem but i somehow didnt manage to fix it even though i know of that leak for many months ....

Its always : Okay i am down 3 BI i run like shit i will quit session ....
I do quit but 15 minutes later i am at the tables again >_<
losing another 3 ....

I know i should quit but i am so pissed that i contine to play
and lose another 2-3 BI

I think i am probably in some way Neilly Nr3 here on this Forum ( NeillyAA , Crown is Neilly#2 , and i am Pplusad=Neilly3)
I just lose like 1/3 of my roll on 1 day far too often ...

I would suggest having a stop loss of 5 buy ins. It really helps to keep your cool as well as just stopping potential disaster.

stop loss works for like 2 weeks or so and than i chase losses again

Just practice discipline.. something we all have to master if we want to move to mid stakes+. I had a rough day yesterday too, but if you aren't in a correct state of mind you aren't +EV to play and you gotta step away.

But ya don't worry you can't be thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat far behind on the prop bet

get your shit together, wtf lol

stop being like a donkey making the same mistakes over and over again, if you cant learn from your mistakes poker is not a game for you

Stop loss of 3 buy-ins should do you fine.

When you resume play later that day do it on a lower stake. Either one or two steps lower. Might help you regroup a little bit and you put much less at risk.

Edit: You know as well as anyone that at baby-stakes you don't really need to pump high variance spots. Just value bet properly and take their monies . You obviously give up some EV when you're trying to chase loses with big moves.

Lol i really dont know ...
I just read Ashmans blog today and hes down 450K last week and almost is busto again ...

I look at myself and then i see i am just a mini version of Schnibl0r or Ashman103 and i am not sure if that has any future in poker -.....
Both of them are excellent players . I think i am not that good of a player but i am better than almost everybody at NL50 and better than most people at Nl100 ...
SO i could make a decent amount of money with my poker skillz.

But i do stupid things all the time.

These 2 guys are somehow the same ...
They are much better than me , and should be a lot more professional about it but they still do the same mistakes over and over again ...

TheAshman103 grinded his way up to 900K and then busts 1 year of work down to 60K within 10 fucking days ? LOLZ
After that he grinds PLO2K and PLO5k and goes back to 250k just to bounce back to 60K in 2 days playing underrolled nosebleeds vs David benjamine...
okay now u think after making the same mistake twice he should have learned a bit .
He grinded his way up to 500K again ! to finally lose 450K again last weak ... leaving him with ~ 50K left.

I mean how bigs is the chance that he will fail a 4th and a 5th time after he allready failed 3 tiems knowing its wrong after the 1st time allready .

Schnibl0r is kinda the same example
builds a 200K roll -> busts it down to 10K
Builds it up to 1 Millionz -> busts it down to 100K by playing Hoss/FatalFog and PAntonius
he builds back up to ~ 500K and busts almost all jf00 and durrr in a HU match ....
He plays NL600 and Nl1000 and grinds 23K in 28 December2008 just to bust ~19k of that in the last 2 days ...

Kinda same with me but on much lower stakes ....

Why do people do this over and over again.

I dont think its the same with Neilly tbh ....
Neither Ashman nor Schniblor , nor me do that crazy 2BI HU stuff ....

Still we have kinda 1 thing in common i guess ...
When we run bad we forget that poker involves a good amount of luck shortterm. The only way poker becomes a game of skill is to have a big enough BR that Variance doesnt affect it significantly
we simply risk too much by treating poker as a game of 100% skill when on tilt...

When we see an edge -> we put the money in , no matter if the overall picture shows a horrendus future if we get sucked out.

dont know if that makes any sense to anyone ^^
it makes sense to me and i had to write it
