Hey what up guys. About 4-5 days ago, I was talking to Bigbobm and CasinoCasino on vent, and basically I got the idea in my head to try to get supernova elite after seeing the numbers. I also decided i wanted to start doing it at 1/2 and eventually move up. The reason for that is just that up until this year i was a 4 tabler, (originally a 12 tabler but i was real bad at it) and then this year i started playing 9 at once to mediocre success (I never felt very comfortable at the higher stakes). So for the past few days since then, I've been experimenting at 1/2 adding on more and more tables and putting in a lot of hours.

All in all, I feel I have a pretty gigantic edge at these stakes, But I have been misclicking TONS and forgetting the action in hands at times. Not to mention I keep doing actions that are incorrect because i dont have time to think about them. I'll give an example, say i have like AK on 59Q double suited board and im in position, i cbet and then i see that the guy is a total maniac and check raises me and im like FK what a horrible spot to do that.

I will also add that i have been experimenting quite a bit as well, as i see so many regs at this stake have some pretty exploitable leaks. I dont want to go too much into detail since i know some 1/2 regs in the games im playing read this forum, so sorry. But i will say, the skill level at 1/2 has improved from what i remember it being at. Make no mistkae though i hope that when my game gets used to the new amount of additional tables I am going to take a large chunk of money out of these stakes.

Final note on this is that, I have been trying stuff like 18 fast tables (bad idea i time out so fast and can't take notes), i also tried 22 normal tables which wasn't bad, but then i tried 16 normal tables and 6 fast, that was also a fail.

BASICALLY, i think im setttling on 20 normal speed tables for a while, and i will probably start the year doing that (yea i'll have to play a little longer but my hourly will be better i think)

AS for life~~~

I've finally gotten settled in the new apartment here in Tempe, AZ, with my friend Jorge as my roommate (or housemate i guess?=p). I got another 24 inch monitor coming in and it'll arrive just intime for the new year i think. And yea..... I guess i'll have to upload a video of the apartment. Oh and before i finish up, My fucking car shut off the other day while i was driving (i believe the fuel pump is clogged or something?) anyway i took it to the dealer, they said they fixed it, but they didn't and now its back in there. I've been carless for like 9 days now. :|

Aight so thats about it. Maybe i should start updating regularly again? meh

How many hours do you expect to be playing each day to reach your goal?

about 8hr a day 5 days a week ( basically something like 40hr a week 20 tabling) which would prob be a tiny bit of overkill since during double VPP week i am probably gonna put in atleast 12 hours a day, which is going to be an insane amount of VPPs. but assuming it was only 1/2 and no double VPP week. it would be about 40 hours a week. I am going to be practicing pretty hardcore for the rest of the month, me and jorge have been putting in 8 hours a day for the past 4 days and we will for the next 3 days (we said we would play 7 days straight to get a taste of what it feels like).

Btw jorge is actually going to be doing the grinding with me too. he said he was going to try to match the hours with me, so we are going to help keep each other motivated. I am just inlove with the fact that i can make something like 30$/hr? maybe more? variance free from rakeback doing this, that just blows my mind completely and since i think i have like 10x the bankroll i need for the stake, the grind should be pretty effortless in terms of stress. It will just be a matter of putting in the time, but i dont think i'll have much of a problem. My girlfriend thinks its cool and is going to help me stay motivated with my eye on the prize. I have been DYING to get into investing, especially in Tax liens (realestate in general actually). And with not having to worry so much about studying poker and stuff, since i will be sort of just mass grinding, the time i spend away from the tables will be more productive since my mind wont be stuck on losing 10 buyins, I'll be able to easily brush it off and continue with life.

I think that this fact alone will make my time away from the tables SOO much more +Life EV. So i am really excited to say the least, I'm actually anxious for the year to get started, i want to do this NOW.

This actually makes me proud of my efforts in poker this year. I don't know if you remember Doomer, but i asked you about one of your 5/10 hands one time, and you PM'd me explaining what was going on, and it just feels so sick to be playing on the same tables with you now (granted you own my soul). Good to be finally up here with you all you guys (handbanana, art, lach etc). GL to us all at the tables, and may we destroy some 2+2 regs =)

Sucks about the car. That's one of the down sides of owning an E46 M3. The maintenance is a bitch and the 4 service stages never end.

8 hrs a day? You have to be kidding man, just spread thru nl400-600 adding some 1k or 200 if you want and you will get it much faster and not commit suicide after the first month.

Big mistake my man. Don't do it. Stick to 4 tabling or whatever.

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP.
