Heres some hands from the session I just played. Any thoughts/comments appreciated. For the record, this is a mixture of hands I won/lost, so no assuming I lost them all . Just curious as to how well they were played
No reads here, I tend to mix it up here in limped pots between leading/checking. I chose to lead here. On the turn I hit my gutter, flush got there, etc. I would think he'd raise my turn bet with a flush so I went ahead and potted river. Gotta bet here right? psb good?

Villain here is a reg I think, no major history yet, seemed like an ok spot to fire river... I guess my range seems pretty polarized, but I feel with a decent image hes gonna give me some credit here. Seem ok?

Villain here was 30/20/3.5, 50% att stl. standard 200BB deep? I hate spots like this 200bb deep, I figured if I 3b flop and he ships it im definitely crushed. Donking here was somewhat unorthodox but I felt it would make the hand a bit easier to play and its good to balance my range. Plan was to c/r safe turn, dunno in hindsight the hand seems sloppy, not entirely sure... standard?

Villain is somewhat lag, 30/25ish, had an infinite turn aggression, high turn bet % etc. He snap shoved... Have to call here since that was my original plan, eh? I guess when the plan is to stackadonk, you have to stick to your plan. The quickness of his shove scared me. I felt hed be 3betting 99 pf, 66 is very unlikely, so its down to 22, 69(which I figured hed prob raise flop) or 68,67 type hands.. maybe A6/56. meh

Villain was a loose/passive fishy player, great odds to call on river, wwud? Minraises scare the shit out of me, feel like my flop/turn play was pussyesque. thoughts? What about river, how often are these types of players minraising flop with fd's, sets? Dunno...

I have an exam in an hour, so this is a perfect distraction thanks...
1: Very ballsy but I love it. Your assumption that he raises a flush on the turn is very misleading though. And you must sadly fold to a river shove.
2: Looks good again. Take one seriously useful note if he calls.
3: Still ok; you love variance don't you? I personally would check/call down now since people are very very nitty 200bb deep. That's why we can use deep stacks to shit on people cos everyone hates it.
4: By repping such strength, you'll hit a 6 very often here unless you 2 have some aggro history. If you don't have a clear enough read to happily get it in here with this line, then you have to bet/fold and shove river. This line costs you $20 and being committed to learn you could be fucked.
5: If you know he's a donk you must have some read into how aggressive he is which makes this decision easy.
6: Well you can hardly raise or fold, so just call. Looks good again. Like the 2nd one, the note you get here is a massively profitable one for future situations.
I can't believe I wasted 10 minutes of crucial procrastination time on perfectly well played hands. wanker. |

Ill give you my opinion just because ive played some 20k+ hands on NL50 on FT, didnt crush it at all just broke even but maybe this can give you another point of view.
Hand 1: Seems fine to me.
Hand 2: Instead of leading i prefer to 3bet pf here in your position. Im not sure abot the river, this could be spewy according to villain, has this line worked before against him? Are you SURE hell fold to this river bet at least 1/3 of the time?
Hand 3: Ill raise to 3 preflop instead of calling a minraise. You are a way ahead against his range here so this his more a gut/balls thing.
Hand 4: This seems really good to me if your data his right.
Hand 5: Im gonna take a long shot here and put the guy in a PP, ive seen lots of guys on FT donklead that shit.. the thing is ive seen this being done with 77/88/99 all hands that beat you here.. but only you know how bad the guy is. Anyway this is a definite fold to me.
Hand 6: I dont think this is a set seeing all his line, he has AJ, KQ maybe 88. Again ive seen this done a lot more with Ax lower kicker assuming you play solid tag they will try to make you fold because "OMG HE JUST CANT ALWAYS HIT" or something. |

1 is good
2 dont bluff the river ... they like always call : /
3 its bad to even think about trying to balance your range at this level ... in any case, u did a very poor job if that was your goal ... lead/calling that flop makes it harder to play and doesnt balance your range at all. if u r gonna lead it should be w/ the intention of b/3b. otherwise u can c/r or c/c and c/r a good turn. i dunno cuz most opponents are so fricken scared of monsters under the bed that its like getting it in w/ top 2 on a 3 flush board isnt very good 200bb deep at 50nl, even w/ a loose image. like, its super standard at higher limits, but down here i just dont like to get it in w/ out a pretty nut hand if my opponent has raised me at any point. i guess for these reasons i like a c/c c/r blank turns and lead strong/fold blank rivers. im basically not looking to get my stack in .... nobody does it light enough, and its cost me too much time : /
4 i dont mind checking the turn, though i much prefer leading it. on the other hand i HATE HATE HATE c/r. its like ... when the 6 falls its not a particularly spectacular card for u, but the issue is ... hes msot likely going to chcek behind his draws ... which there are a TON of on this board... hands which u r ahead of that will definitely call another bet ... a T will also call u again, i would be take bet/bet/bet line here.
5 sure looks like he has a q ... i still wouldnt ever give him credit for it though, cry and call.
6 cant fold the river ... people just arent aggressive w/ FD's anyways. expect to be good here a good amount of the time. sucks when he shows up w/ some random 2 pr but whatever. |

i agree with the AJ hand and the JJ c/r hand. The reason I went for the c/r on the JJ hand was due to his high turn bet %/aggression but maybe its still better to keep betting...? |
