Since i destroy everyone at NL 10 left and right ...
i hardly feel anything but boredom playing Nl10
after almost a year of Poker ....
I mean i still suck at Poker after 1 year of practice ^^ ( i have no talent at card games)
but NL 10 is nothing than a joke for someone who spend time Pokering this long.

I was playing PartyPoker NL25 with a 750 $ roll at the beginnig of the month getting ready to take shots at NL50 in the middle of the month.
Well then i hit an incredible downswing.
( well you people may think i have seen nothing yet ...)
but I couldnt play a single hand without getting crushed.
down 3 buy ins after the first 40 hands was standart ..
I just got setup after setup and it just didnt end.
lost ~ 18 buy ins ...
and decided to take a break from Poker and especially partypoker.

took a 2 week break
then

deposited 150 $ on NoIQpoker last week
made it up to 220 $ in 5 K hands.

I moved up to NL 20 giving it a short shot with 11 Buy ins 3 tabling after i returned from my MMA training today.
run pretty medicore and got 2 really annyoing bad beats and 2 setups.
ended up 10,50 $ tough in 400 hands. ( 7 BB/100)

could have been more + $ , but i decided to not make difficult descisions directly after a grueling 2 h of MMA training ...

fe :

He showed J9

I was thinking about a Push.
but then i thought id just play safe when i am tired.

I have also a question concerning this hand
http://www.liquidpoker.net/hand/hand.php?hand=305072

opponent was pretty lose and could have had anything ..

I think i played it good but i am not so sure about the turnbet.
River is okay ? since when i bet out bigger only hand that calls me is a flush or maybe a set.
when i bet out less he can bluff the flush and i lose Value if he had like 76.

lol at "MMA training".

You don't train "mma" because it isn't a martial art. You train jiu jitsu, wrestling, muay thai, boxing, tae kwon do, karate, Kung "ballet" Fu, etc. If you train at more than one discipline you are a MMA-artist but you don't train mma itself. MMA is just the a name that replaced NHB, do you train with NHB? pretty much no, right?

Sorry. I just hate with this term "I'm training mma"
its so popular in the interweb nowadays.

I can see MaCDojo's giving "belts" in MMA in the future..

PS: Why germans aren't good at it? I can only remember one german in MMA...

7-2o is my favourite hand.. I Never lost an all in pre flop when the other guy had 7-2o,

LOL you get it wrong ....
NHB and MMA are not meant to be the same kind of lingusitic expression
mma just means mixed martial arts .... while nhb means : no rules fighting ( obvious there is a big difference ...)

I do train different martial arts mixed in 1 session since there are in fact some MMA Gyms that train specificly for mma fights .
Our training started with some shadow boxing ... then we did some soft sparring using standart Boxing attacks and defense. After that we worked the Muay Thai clinch ( Knees and punches in the clinch , BJJ Takedowns and Judo throws from a clinch positon etc.) then we trained some kickbox combinations ( emphasise was on using your feets effectivly after different hand openings) in a soft sparring again.
After that we did a mix of 5 minutes hard sparring -> 5 minutes shadow boxing -> 5 minutes hard sparring -> 5 minutes shadowboxing etc.

So what is this if not a training of Mixed martial arts ?

I think it is completely correct when i say i came home from my mixed martial arts ( MMA training)

Well you are right , there arent many good germans

I only know Mario Stapel, Dennis Siver , Peter Angerer and Franco De Leonardis who are all pretty good but far from being comparable to any good US or brazilian fighter.

Reason is kinda simple.
There is no money to make from MMA here in Germany.
You cant train MMA for a Living ...
YOu have to do a Job besides your fight training and therefore you cant train as much and as effective
