Uhh, so I joined the tournament challange thinking it would be a great excuse to get better at donkaments and to motivate myself to play more poker in general. Now, a couple of days in I realize I hate donkaments so much. Its like playing poker with a straitjacket. Im already so tired of having to race for my stack continiously. Getting it in with the best hand, getting sucked out on the flop and chanting ACE OR A KING ACE OR A KING on turn and river loosing and realizing I just wasted 3 hours of my life.
The general donkamentpla<x>yer are sooooo bad its almost embarresing, they fucking cant play deep stacked and just try to fold their way into the push fold stage where they dont have to make decisions. Nothing that I love about poker exists in donkaments. You cant make sick reads deepstacked, me<x>tagame manipulations or big bluffs. Its like beating a homeless man with a stick, and yet I manage to loose to these fucking morons.
Whatever, rant over. Im still going to play donkaments because Im commited to my team and im determined to win a few just to prove my point that donkaments are ez.
Im still recovering in cash for this month, Im doing well on 3/6 and I intend to stay there for probably another month so I have a deep roll for 5/10 when I decide to move up again.
In other news, Im going to spain tomorrow for a week of partying/chilling with 7 friends. Hopefully it will be alot of fun and I can recharge my poker batteries so I can make up for the week off missed donkaments when I get back.

I tired playing some donkaments today and it *is* really frustrating. short stacked gambol fests. I'm so used to NL5 with its 250bb stacks  |

heh your stats are really similar to mine vpip/pfr/aggression factor wise and judging from your posts we play a similar game. i'm also of the mentality that donkaments are fucking shit. 3 hours to bubble or whatever is just so frustrating, and even if you make the money it still feels a waste unless you make top 3 or something which is obviously pretty rare in large fields. good luck for the future and have fun in spain = ]~ |

my sentiments EXACTLY. these things are soooooo fucking frustrating. feel like you might go deep only to lose KK vs. QQ on the river. i played 11 hours yesterday with very very very marginal results, but i'm still gonna keep going for Team Talented |
