She left ME, to go back to him. Couldn't get over her ex. Pretty standard I've learned from abuse victims. They just have this thing.

Most people act like that. If you treat them like shit and then give them some attention and keep doing this in circles they will become addicted to you. It's incredibly stupid and only an extremely insecure person would choose this over a healthier relationship but the average person nowadays isn't either smart, confident or emotionally stable.

I feel like its not even about intelligence ClouD, I ve seen plenty of smart people falling for the same thing. It's something on a psychological level I guess.

uick isn't asking if you are joking about asking him to write about his experiences. he's asking if you are joking when you suggest that he should have abused her, because, you know, people generally don't actually want to be the abusive part of a relationship.

I didn't say he should have done or not done anything, I meant what I said when I was wondering. "Abuse" is a really broad word, it covers parts of life that are inevitable or even necessary, and I can perfectly well imagine it overlapping with someone's wants or needs in a relationship. I'm suggesting, given the little information shared, that it sounds like he could have done something like that but didn't, so it would be interesting to know the whole situation.
