Most people act like that. If you treat them like shit and then give them some attention and keep doing this in circles they will become addicted to you. It's incredibly stupid and only an extremely insecure person would choose this over a healthier relationship but the average person nowadays isn't either smart, confident or emotionally stable.
I feel like its not even about intelligence ClouD, I ve seen plenty of smart people falling for the same thing. It's something on a psychological level I guess.

I didn't say he should have done or not done anything, I meant what I said when I was wondering. I quite like this channel but there are many. Just youtube the exercise then focus on proper form and go slow dont use speed and (can't find the right word) motion to help you. Example in push ups is to stop for 1-2 seconds at the bottom and don't lock out your elbows at the top go back down right before you lock out and go slow it makes it much harder. It's true. It only changes if they feel their life is threatened.
Otherwise they will do it because they feel they're needed and they will take the abuse as the cost of life in a society that needs them for the social good, over being abandoned and alone.
