I'll assume the computer is legit.
I don't know shit about modern computers. When I purchased my current computer 2.5 years ago, I went on Newegg and found a certain part that had a ton of good reviews, then used the "other people also purchased this" to build the rest of my computer. |

Try pcpartpicker.com, besides making sure your system is compatible with itself, it shows you which sites offer the same part the cheapest/free shipping and you can also see recent build histories and copy folks there. Although typically I just find some system builder marathon article for that quarter on tomshardware or something and rip that off. |
