i went to the store and bought a bag of coffee, but when i got home i realized FUCK they're whole beans, not ground, and i don't have a coffee grinder.
so i tried crushing them with a heavy hardcover book, didn't work very well. then i tried stomping on them with a thin cloth wrapped around the bag, still didn't work. then i tried going outside and backing over them with my car, still didn't work.
starbucks and carribou coffee are closed here at this hour, i have no other options...what can i do

actually nevermind i just realized i could go back to the store and buy a bag of ground coffee beans LOL

thank god for 24 hour wal-mart. i don't know how some people deal with crack or meth addictions, i feel like a completely hopeless junkie without caffeine sometimes |

I think you should be able to crush them, if you have a blender at low speed, a little at a time.

put coffee beans in a plastic bag, close the bag, use a hammer. hammer the fuck out of the beans. did this once, after breaking a rolling pin to do it |

grinding ur own beans might be satisfying but aint no one got time for that
i hate buying random consumer electronics as a general principle, but my electric coffee bean grinder sure gets daily use (and makes much better coffee than preground beans which lose freshness fast) |

There are pretty solid little coffee grinders available. Just a metal or plastic bowl with a spinning blade at the bottom. Fresh ground is da best. |
