for years my sleeping schedule is fucked up
I've been sleeping most of the time 4am and waking up 12pm
I think I wake up in the morning like 15 times per year, only when I really need to

I always thought most creative people used to stay awake in the night and sleep at daytime ( also that they did that polyphasic sleep that I think it's bullshit )
but I found this and I'm a little surprised

anyway, should I change my sleeping schedule ??? even when the night field is way softer ???

http://infowetrust.com/2014/03/26/creative-routines/

another thing, usually when I go to the gym right after I wake( 12:30pm~1:00pm) I'm lazy for the rest of the day, anyone experienced something like that ?? shouldn't be the opposite ??

16 people, 9 total hours of making ends meet. Seems like a good idea to take inspiration from this

you seem to sleep fine just at weird hours. i dont think it really matters when you sleep, as long as you dont get depression from not being awake during the day, skip out on social meetings with friends cause you sleep through it, etc. as long as you find a way to be productive with your awake hours doesnt matter if you sleep 6am-2pm, 10pm-6am, etc. just whatever works best for your grind and your social life sounds like the way to go.

ive always had trouble sleeping. often sleep 5-6 hours and am restless throughout the night. have also had issues with being productive throughout day. these dont really seem like your problems, but they are probably pretty common among long time poker players. but ive recently made some changes though that have increased my productivity and energy levels, so ill go through my day just to write it out.

830 wake up, lay in bed til 9
900 eat some form of eggs: either 3 scrambled eggs (made with coconut oil) with turkey jerky or 1 egg+turkey jerky+cheese sandwich. both work out to about 400-500 calories
915 walk dog
930-11 take care of random stuff like pay bills, clean up apartment, beat off, read twitter/facebook updates, etc
11 gym: 1/2 mile jog, then ~45 minute lift
12 protein shake (650 calories)
130 walk dog
2-5 grind (on days i dont go to bjj i grind 2-9). usually have a small meal like 8 pieces of quinoa spicy salmon sushi with avocado (about 400 calories) around 3pm
530: clif bar (about 240 calories)
6-830 bjj
900 protein shake (650 calories)
1100: scrambled eggs+turkey jerky, no carbs (400 calories)
1115-? grind again if i want, if not i just play video games

sleep 5-7.5 hours, varies a bit

find a few things have given me more energy and made me not sit around doing nothing:
-worked hard to increase testosterone: lift more, more cholesterol (eggs, lean meats), stay active and moving every few hours, etc
-space out meals a bit. try to never consume more than 650 calories in one sitting. i used to have these massive meals and id go into mega food coma mode after. now i just eat 400-650 calories every 3 hours and stay more alert throughout the day. realized it after reading ender's shadow and seeing bean's thoughts on eating smaller portions
-do things in 2-3 hour blocks. i do have the longer 2-9 grinds on days i skip bjj and play some mtts but thats only a couple days a week.

anyway TL;DR, you seem to put in a good grind and have a fun life, wouldnt worry about your sleep schedule being at different hours from others

http://sleepyti.me/wake/

sleep in multiples of 1.5 hours (6 hours, 7.5 hours, 9 hours, etc)

sleep cycles are 1.5 hours long and waking up at the end of them is ideal / waking up in the middle feels like shit

There is no such thing as protein overdose with healthy kidneys

Daut, you should try lifting before jogging, even if you are well conditioned from BJJ you should see a massive difference.

nah its not that much protein:

16 oz almond milk: 80 cal, 6g fat, 4g carb (2 fiber), 2g protein
8 ounces frozen fruit: 120 cal, 0g fat, 27g carb (7.5 fiber), .5g protein
dragonfruit: 30 cal, 6.5g carb (1.5 fiber), .5g protein
banana: 121 cal, 31g carb (4 fiber), 1g protein
flaxseed: 60 cal, 3.75g fat, 3.75g carb (3g fiber), 2.25g protein
chia: 20 cal, 1g fat, 1.25 carb (1.25 fiber), 1g protein
coconut butter: 93 cal, 9g fat, 3.5g carb (2.5 fiber), 1g protein
whey: 94 cal, 2g fat, 2g carb, 18g protein

totals: 618 calories, 21.75g fat, 79 carb (21.75 fiber), 26.25 protein

also add some frozen broccoli which probably adds about 30 calories. lotta fat and fruit in there. if i had to guess im eating like 140g protein a day, on a 2800 calorie diet thats not that much really.

i used to bike after lifting, but im mainly doing the jog to warm up. i jog half a mile, do a little 5 minute stretch and then lift. its not really for conditioning

I have hyperthyroidism. Found out a week ago. Pretty hard to sleep with an avg heart beat of 110.

Parents used to flame me all the time but it was a legit condition

good posts daut, thanks

my schedule during week days since march is something like this ( it's pretty unhealthy I know ):

12:00 wake up
12:30 lunch at a restaurant, barbecue, french fries, rice and beans
1:30~2:00pm take a shower and start grinding ( if I have to do something like bills, market, I do that before the grind )
10:30pm stop the grind to cook some quick dinner ( some random red meat, rice and potatoes most of the time, but I eat a cup noodles when I'm too tired to cook )
11:30pm start grinding for another hour or 2 depending on how the action is

then I keep relaxing, watching vids, doing nothing until 3-4am when I sleep

I use to do lifting right after I wake up without eating anything ( was trying to follow leangains diet but w/e )
so I used to wake up>gym>lunch>shower>grind

but I'm getting too tired for the rest of the day when I lift, so I was thinking about waking up in the morning, doing everything during the day and lifting after I did everything ( 9-10pm is the last schedule in my gym )

maybe I will get tired and sleep easier and better?? or maybe I will have trouble sleeping because I will be pumped from the lifting ?

Hey man. How long do you believe you have had it? I was diagnosed with it when I was in my teens. I believe I had it for at least 2 years. I am almost 99% positive it had a direct impact in my exams. I did really bad in my GCSE (in UK its like your last big exams before you can leave school. Most people move on to A-Levels (2 years of this), and then university. At time had no idea, as i beleive it was normal. After several weeks of medication it was amazing the amount of energy I had.

I am glad you found out. You got any questions about if fire away, as I am now 30, so I knew i had it when i was like 16. I now have under active which is much easier to control.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.
