Hey I'll be coming to LA later this month. Not sure yet for how long. Long story short, my gf made travel plans with her mother through some travel agency, but basically they reneged on their services/packages.

WHAT A FUCKING JOKE. Anyway

Basically we'll be going to LA with no plan. Was hoping you guys could recommend some things to do nearby LA.

Her parents are pretty conservative, so i think they will enjoy pretty damn touristy things.

universal studios / disneyland / six flags
huntington library
be apart of a live audience in a TV show taping
eat in-n-out
visit USC/UCLA
eat food in koreatown
oldtown pasadena is a fun area to be too

If the day's reasonably clear, see the sunset/night lights from the hills. Griffith Park is the common choice, but Runyon Canyon Park offers a better view imo.

Korean BBQ is worth driving for.

If you can't tell I have a negative view of LA so take that fwiw.

+1 on avoiding driving and +1 on korean bbq. I believe Mana is the best place for Korean BBQ, but I may be wrong.
