So I've been playing casually poker for some years now, but never been a good player not even on my shitty level. After losing the initial 50 bucks like 3-4 years ago, while thinking i was being good and the soft ain't good for shit, and losing some more additional 10-20 bucks every 4-5 months or so, I finally decided that I must put an end to this and actually start listening to guides and enforce patience on my game. Its pretty frustrating to fold away JJ or AQ offsuit, when I thought for so many years that those hands are huge. Slowly, but surely I think I finally managed to somewhat limit down my looseness. I've deposited 10 bucks on PS on Wednesday and am up to 85 now by playing 0.01/0.02 zoom poker, by winning some satellites (and unregistering) and by playing some 3.5$ 18-27 sit'n'gos (yeah, I know that this is way above my limit, but people seem even worse than I am).

If you have any advices, software for a a fellow TL'er (LP'er i guess now), I'm more than happy to listen to it.

P.S.
statistics for my last 1000 hands:
Hold'em (Real Money):

1000 hands played and saw flop:
- 35 times out of 166 while in small blind (21%)
- 37 times out of 170 while in big blind (22%)
- 88 times out of 664 in other positions (13%)
- a total of 160 times out of 1000 (16%)

Pots won at showdown - 22 out of 44 (50%)
Pots won without showdown - 122

An analysis on this would be nice as well, as I have no idea (besides that maybe i should play even less hands).

as a starting player Id advice to not deposit any money at all on your account. the sites themselves run freerolls, so you can basically build a BR out of nothing. the stats you posted are pretty useless, you should import all your hands into holdem manager(if you dont have HEM, buy it itll improve your grame drastically). as for the limits youre playing, a big leak of ppl is wanting to move up to quickly. Id advice you to just start grinding 2nl and build up from there. for these lower limits Id advice 20 BI's and as you move up you higher the BI's for the limit. as for improving your own game, Id make a 2p2 account( or just on LP) and start posting hands, replying to other one's hands. also watching vids of other tutors help, a good trainingsite is deucescracked. though you need to pay money for the sub, I think theres a way to get a free trial and download all the vids you want (or simply just torrent a package). Id advice to atleast study on poker a quarter of your time you spend on poker. and as you become better you can put in more and more volume and less studying. if you follow these tips you can prolly start beating 2nl in a month if not quicker.

As i said i've been playing poker casually so I'm somewhat familiar. Also i committed all the mistakes that a player can do and am continuosly doing so, while trying to improve.

But i just dont have the time to play a freeroll for like 4-5 hours to win 5-6 bucks. I have a job, a girlfriend and some other hobbys besides poker. And 10 bucks just aint that much, even if i lose it like every month but get a good 3-4 hour fun it's worth it. If i manage to win and improve my game, even better!

I started on 2nl myself, but I think freerolling for new players is just the best. bit in that case just start playing on 2nl, but Id study alot as a beginner then.

in the micros:
bet bet bet your strong hands/made hands for value.
fold ur weak hands/mediocre againts aggression.
dont bluff.
studying as a beginner is bullshit, experience is much more beneficial so just keep playing.
dont play loose.

longple: ur missing the point! this is an attempt to get away from the bumhuntmentality!
