here is my last 86k hands at 6max 50nl...feel like ive been playing ok but not really improving all that much.
im curious as to why my redline is decreasing at such a rate and want to investigate this further.
how would i go about this in pt3? maybe im playing too many hands OOP or not being aggressive enough on later streets.
I know alot of people say redline is meaningless but im thinking i might not be playing 'tough' enough.

My redline was decreasing until I learned how to 3 barrel. watch some Pooruser vids on dragthebar or cardrunners. or aejones has a good series on bluffing. Drop down limits and get some practice in vs some player types that are capable of folding sometimes. (look for decent VPIP yet low WTSD, or run a filter in PT3 on their hands that get to showdown and see if they ever call with bluff catchers). e.g. boards like T86 are generally great for 3 barreling vs chaser fish, as long as turn/river is a not a 9 or a 7. Then do some math/analyze interesting hands from your session for % of time they needed to fold and % of their range of hand combos they are realistically folding. get a feel for what combos you are pushing them off and how often it works, compare it to how often it need to work to show a profit.
the key point is to be very honest with yourself about what opponents are actually doing in a certain spot with certain cards. Don't rely on over simplistic advice like "omfg no fish is ever folding a pair ever, don't bluff" "regs can't fold an ace, thats Top Pair don't be ridiculous"

You Win close to 4BB/100. You don't need to improve maybe.

Really ignore the redline thing, and you winrate is fine, move up. The problem with seeing the redline as a symptom of anything is that there are many factors which alter it, and some of them are contradictory. For example you could be cbetting too much and then having to give up because you constantly have rubbish hands later, or you could be cbetting too little and giving up too many pots. There are many other spots one can think of where too much or too little both cause a downward redline, and there are ways of playing which are very profitable which have any kind of redline. Completely ignore it and focus on improving. And don't be a nit - move up!

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

and as always, oly makes the ultimate point, your bb/100 is greater than 3.0, grab your balls and move up and learn
