Hey all, sorry for the few days with no update, was trying to get my password from here for a few days but never got the email they send you. About to go to bed for the night right now and at about 369k hands for the month, 11k off pace.
Finally got a new desktop today because stars kept freezing for like 20 seconds once an hour, then I would get sat out at a bunch of tables, and miss blinds/hands and was putting me on super tilt. So went to Best Buy and decided to just ship a new desktop without much thought. So now I can use the new one for just poker related stuff and I might finally be able to 24 table with a HUD now for the first time ever lol, excited about that actually.

I put together another epic come back yesterday in my session and was able to book a winning day for the first time this week. I actually had to take a break after I started and lost like 600 instantly but eventually I stopped running totally horrible and finally was able to mount a comeback and book the win. I stopped the session pretty much right at 20k hands so didnt really gain any on the 12k I am off pace. I wanted to keep playing but was just way to tired and exhausted to continue but I felt like I could have made alot more yesterday. Next time your playing a session and down 13 BIs but your playing good and just running bad, grind through it and book the +9 BI day. Am at 288k hands total for the month now.
About to start playing for the day right now after I eat some breakfeast. The girl/friend is coming over tonight so have to take some time out to entertain her and not play poker which makes me lol. I am totally 100 percent focused on playing this month and she is a slight distraction from me winning the bet.
For entertainment purposes this is a pic of me and her. I probably don't look like the typical person that plays 600k hands 14 hours a day of online poker but who knows lol.

This week hasn't been very fun, I've played like 100k hands and am basically breakeven at nl100. I just cant seem to put together a good session from beginning to end. Every one I have played I've been down 600+ at one point and up 600+ at one point. Usually I would book the win at my high point but because of the fact I HAVE to play that really isnt possible. I feel like my play is starting to slip also due to the fact I've played 12 hour+ everyday this month and I am running like shit recently. Normally during a breakeven stretch like this in the past I would just take a day or two off and go back home to my parents house and do something fun but am unable to do that now. I really feel like I need a day off but as I am already 11k hands off pace, I do not really want to be 31k hands off pace.
I did clear my 2k milestone bonus yesterday so ship another 2k to the bankroll. In my 23 year life I think the most money I've ever had at one point was like 2k and most of that was going for bills anyway so I'm not really sure what I am going to do with some of the money at the end of this month but I'm sure I will find a few nice things to buy myself. At the pace I am at though I'll be able to get and clear another 4k fpp bonus, a 1.5k fpp bonus, and I will hit my 3k milestone so thats 8.5k more just in fpps alone.
With my prop bets I stand to win 2150 in the bet I have with 4 others on who can play the most hands in November. My main bet is if I will play 600k hands in the month and I stand to get 6085 back if i can get there so there is another 8.2k. So if i can keep up my current pace I will basically make 16.7k for sure before and poker winnings are even added into the equation. For someone who was playing NL50 last month as his main game that is just fucking sick lol imo. If that isn't enough motivation for me to do it then I really do not know what is. Work had the next 16 days straight and enjoy myself in December! I have to just keep reminding myself that.

The NL25 pros didnt get the memo also, anytime you raise preflop and then check/call 2 streets then suddenly go nuts on the river its usually a bluff. These types of players arent smart enough to bet AQ for value in these spots

Just want to start off with saying thanks to the people that have been reading my blog so far and that have left me really encouraging comments and sent me messages. Hopefully can inspire some people out there to play more hands and make some more money for themselves.
And yes I do have a life/friends/family/gf but this month I'm just putting them off to the side so I can accomplish this. The gf still comes around often and she is okay with me playing poker and not with her lol. Yesterday pretty much sucked for me. Ran super super bad against the fish who hit there miracle 2 pair/trips card everytime we got it all in and at one point was down 1.3k but rallied late to only finish down a few hundred which I actually considered a victory. I don't think it was any coincedence that this happened while I was almost finished up clearing a 4k Fpp bonus lol.
But At the end of the day when I finished up I officially had 10k in my Poker Stars account. I escrowed about 2k-3k for the different prop bets I have so should have gotten there faster but after I finish clearing my 2k Milestone bonus It will officially be a 10k month for me.
Honestly when I first started grinding nl25 back in June I could never have even dreamed I would ever have 10k at one time. I was struggling to make it to 1k and wondering if it was even possible to ever make money playing poker. Well about 7k in cash outs and a ton of hands I have finally gotten to the point I set out to reach and its a surreal feeling. The sick thing is I'll be able to get another 4k fpp bonus by the end of the month, plus, I stand to get back about 8k total if i can win both prop bets. I could ship my first 10k month and my first 20k month lol, just crazy shit.
Heres my total graph so far though 247k hands total, still 13k off pace but I will probably make that up this this weekend when the games are super super super super good, just hope i can run decent.

Just got done playing for the day, put in about 21.5k hands today to bring my total to 207k, 13k off pace. I'm really not sweating it to much though because I can play one extra long session one day and be right back up to pace.
At like 60k vpp total so almost up 3k in fpps, clearing a 4k bonus right now and 4k vpp away from a 2k milestone bonus. Here is my graph for this month total, up a pretty good amount

So I decided to make a blog item for the first time on Teamliquid about WCG. I haven't been active on Teamliquid for a few years already, except the occasional thread closing and banning some guy but considering I met a lot of Teamliquid people this weekend I decided to make a little report as well. It's not gonna be epic like mnm's blog but whatever
I booked a twin bed hotel room at the Hyatt resort in Cologne with Kalle (my colleague from my pokerwebsite). It was a pretty awesome 5 star hotel with valet parking and they had some fountains in the lobby etc. so it was pretty baller.
Friday
I got to Cologne on Friday at like 9PM and I got to the hotel to find out there were like 8 guys in my hotel room plundering the minibar who had been invited by Kalle so that was a bit overwhelming haha. I found out that they were mostly guys from the german version of the poker website and some other people. I quickly punched down a vodka/redbull from the minibar before all was gone.
After that I wanted to meet the people from ToT. Mondi thought I was gonna eat dinner with them so he sms-ed me at like 8:15PM in the car that they were waiting for me so I called them to go ahead and I'd meet them after dinner. When I met them at their hostel it was fun meeting Midian and some British friends of his, Mondi and Ele were there and Lilsusie so it was fun to meet them all. I was already kind of tipsy there and I kinda urged the other guys to come with us to go drinking but Mondi had to play the following day so he didn't want to come and Midian had some stupid excuse that he was tired (wtf?) :D. So we just went drinking with the five of us only to find out that Cologne has a pretty shitty nightlife. We ended up in some club that had terrible music but we were too drunk to care anyway.
Saturday
Because we got at around 5 AM the day before we slept until like 1PM and watched the video on the stream while getting some breakfast via room service. After that we went to the venue and I met a lot of people over there. I got to meet Mnm there and Baal from WGT and the Liquid guys (Nazgul, Meat, Pooruser). I also met Ret, my fellow countryman. The last time I saw him was at some lan tournament like 4 years ago or whatever but he hadn't changed one bit hah :D.
Was fun to be at the venue and watch some Starcraft and hang out a bit. Kalle/me went back to the hotel around 7PM and I got ready for the Teamliquid meetup. I went there by myself with a cab from the hotel but couldn't really find the place at first because the taxi couldn't go there. Eventually I harassed Jamie a few times by phone but they couldn't find it either. I started asking random people on the street until I found a 'velo-cab' who could take me there. It was basically just a bike with a bench in the back so together with the guy we found it. I found out there were already like 50 people there. At first I was waiting for like a half hour to finally get a beer (too lazy to go to the bar to get it) and after like 1 hour 15 minutes I finally got a steak as well. Ah well whatever, I just talked to some Teamliquid lurkers as they called themselves, but I recognized their screennames anyway (Maenander and Konni I believe but I'm not 100% sure, sorry guys :D). After that I just went mingling with some people and talked to a bunch of people there. I didn't really talk to the Koreans because to be completely honest I don't care about Korean progaming anyway so I didn't really care about talking to them either .
Suddenly when on my way to the toilet I heard some guy shouting some Dutch like 'Now I recognize you!' or something and found out that was Nyovne, otherwise known as Forsaken~[TUW] (his bw nick) and it was a relief to be able to talk some Dutch hah. After that I spoke to the Teamliquid guys such as Pooruser, Nazgul and Meat and later on Puertorican was there too and I found out that he challenged Nazgul to a PvP betgame for like 10$ and they asked me if I wanted in on the bet. I wasn't sure if I heard this correctly. Puertorican wants to challenge the awesome protoss that is Nazgul for even odds? I was quite astonished but once I found out what was going on I obviously snapcalled.
Also met Nony and Tasteless and talked to them very briefly and gave them both my boost of confidence or whatever with their doings in Korea.
Also there were my colleagues from the website but they stayed away from the meet pretty much because they didn't know anyone from them anyway so I went and hung out with them a fair bit as well.
I kind of regret not meeting more people now. I was having fun as it is but now I regret it! I think we should've taken a picture with the entire Teamliquid Staff actually that was present. I actually dodged like most of the pictures even though I was there from 9:00PM until around 3:30AM so that was kind of weird haha. Ah well no worries, I'm just good at picture dodging.
Sunday
Got back at the hotel with a taxi and went to bed at around 4:30 I think. We had to wake up at around 11:00AM to get to the starcraft venue. So we took a cab and got there just as the game was starting. I saw Jamie there and we just got some seats in the back. If I knew you Teamliquid guys were all on the front I'd definitely go there. Oh man so many missed chances (not meeting enough people at the meet and not getting to cheer with the Teamliquid people goddammit). The final was really bad though and I enjoyed the Warcraft3 final waayy more. Also because I had Grubby to cheer on who I actually knew a bit from meeting him a few times at WCG 2004 and ECG 2005 and because the games were totally awesome/exciting/close. Warcraft 3 is definitely awesome to watch when it's top players playing.
So before the weekend I wanted to stay until dinner or something but I was really tired so we just went back to the hotel, checked out and I went home. I got home at around 8:00PM pretty smashed with a lot of good memories but not enough pictures. I actually didn't take any pictures except a few pictures with the website guys that are not really interesting to post here. I should be in some pictures that Eleonore made though but she hasn't uploaded the pictures anywhere yet.
A lot of thanks to mnm and Naruto for organizing the TL meet. You both organized the meetup in extraordinary fashion so you both have my thanks!

This hand I 3 bet the UTG raiser from utg+1 and get flatted from a guy in MP, on the flop I just check/fold KK which is pretty crazy but I cant really beat any possible hand he might do this with except AK/QQ but I felt like he was a pretty solid player so he probably would flat AA here a ton of the time, so decided to just give up on it right away

Whats up blog readers, I'm starting my first poker blog on here for my prop bet I'm having on 2plus2. I need to play 600k full ring hands on PokerStars this month 25nl and above, will be giving updates on here and posting some other fun stuff along the way.
I play as JoeIngram1 on stars, the kid holding the money in the avatar is me, I'm sure the other regs out there love me! Will be keeping this blog for quite awhile as I am going after Supernova Elite next year (which I will get for sure) so bookmark it and check it out from time to time.
