Today has been a bad day for multiple reasons. However overall poker results this month have been better, mainly because I actually sat down and played some $5/$10, albeit very few hands, but have still been unable to stop myself from playing more hands lower than higher. Here are the stats:



Pretty funny how whenever I sit in $3/$6, $5/$10 games I continue to run well, play well and have good results, but whenever I play at $1/$2, $0.50/$1 my results blow, my play blows, I run like crap and tilt a lot. I guess I should consider it a good thing, better that I run well at higher stakes than lower stakes when it comes to money, however it kinda hurts my ego to lose to "inferior" players, hence why I tilt so easily when things are not going my way at those stakes. I wish I could just run good at $1/$2 etc so that my mind would be at ease and I could stop playing so many hands there when I should not be. Today I lost $1.3k playing $1/$2, I was tilted before I even started the session which was not a bright move and a few coolers, few beats, few gay board runouts later and I was tilted enough to call down 200bb with 55 in a 3bet pot on 4487, obviously something I would never ever do in a higher stakes game, and just shows me why I lose at these stupid stakes but win at actual decent stakes.

The lack of volume this month is largely due to StarCraft, I've played 200+ games in the last 3 or 4 weeks and created a stream where people can see me playing in First Person when I log on. The link is http://www.LiveStream.com/MidiaN but I don't stream very often and when I'm not streaming it just has some StarCraft2 battlereports on loop, as I needed to loop something in order to get my account verified. I've barely been active at any point in the last 2.5 years and my skills are significantly worse in comparison to other players than they used to be obviously. I've got used to some of the newer build orders a little bit but don't have the feel for the opponent that I once did, and I end up losing a lot of silly games and a lot of games to players who are clearly pretty horrible at the game. This has happened a lot today imparticularly and further bruising my ego today and making me feel like I actually suck at the 2 main things that I'm supposed to be good at, poker and StarCraft.

Played some HU last night to get to 93 total BI for the month and then figured I would finish up the 10K goal and win my bets i have. Unfortuantlelyly things did not go according to plan and i got stuck a bunch to start. 15 hours later I am writing this blog, havent slept in idk when, cant see anymore, havent eaten in hours excpet a few oatmeal creampies and yogurt. Low point was down 2.5k but managed to get back to only being down -500 a few times but just couldn't get there. Am finally giving up now becasue i can't think straight anymore and am just clicking random buttons. Ran kinda bad but overall played pretty bad, got all in preflop with awful hand (J7ss, 68ss, etc..) about 5 times and lost them all and was just playing like a god damn maniac after awhile. Isoing the fish with atc, cbet, 2 barrel, ALLLL IN! I hate full ring lol, sleep then wake back up!!! Fucking love poker!! At least I made 10k VPP!

Almost have achieved my goal of 10K at NL100 this month. Last few days have just been taking it pretty easy and working on my tan. Still have not had a losing session since my big 53 BI downswing a few weeks ago. Have been switching back to 6max and full ring with most of my play being at 6max lately. I have also started playing some more HU play and doing pretty well. I started a session today and found myself 2 tabling 2 people and playing a few other random fish. Felt I did pretty well and was immidieatly down about 3 BI losing flips and came back to end about +2 BI so I was happy with that. Feel like my heads up game is improving alot, my results for just HU play at all tables is really good and I should probably try to play more in the future. I really wish I didn't have that big ass downswing, my 4.5ptbb/100 winrate would be like 6 or 7 which would be sick awesome but meh, can't change it now, just have to avoid having another one.

Last 40 BI I have just been crushinggggggggg hard, 10k hands +40BI





I am almost out of the negative on table ratings also finally, now I just need to not lose 10k+ at higher stakes and keep it positive when i get there!! I really wish they had all my nl100 hands I have played since september but o well, people can assume I am still down monies.

Sitting at the airport in philly right now waiting for my flight back home to stockholm. I dont have alot of batteries so ill keep it breif. Vegas was a fail in terms of poker. I also degened it up alot more than I was planning to playing alot of blackjack roulette and baccarat. Fortunately I won enough in omahaflips against pinball to cover my -ev game losses. Overall I had a great time in vegas, it was great meeting everyone(to lazy to list everyone, you guys know who you are yo) and partying and eating great food etc.

Just found out that I got into medschool so I have like another month of freedom left before hell is unleached upon me. I have mixed feeling about this. I really really wanted to get in so I am very happy, but at the same time living with poker players was sick fun and I was aiming at setting up a pokerhouse somewhere nice if I didnt get in to school. owell, its all good. Its going to be great to get back home to sweden and just chill for a while, no drinking no vicious spending and no desert.

Well since my last post on here thinks have been going much better. There was alot of comments on my last blog and I don't know where to even begin to address most of them but I know one guy said obviously I suck at poker, cant win, need to play less tables, etc etc. I guess I would say to that is I really don't think I am that terrible at poker, I have won 24 tabling for 12/13 months. I still have hopes for SuperNova Elite also and that is achieved by 24 tabling. I guess I could play a few tables and be able to have a better read on situations but I feel the biggest reason I have these huge sessions is simply 3betting way way to much, tilt calling way to many 3bet/4bets and just getting it all in preflop with any random cards because i Just say fuck it. Also I obviously don't know when to quit a session down which is a pretty big problem as well and leads to this epic losing sessions. Some people are just going to think I suck and I am fine with that, as long as I am making money and happy then that is all that matters. I must say there does seem to be alot of support for me on the 2+2 threads I have right now, I'm not sure if any of it is deserving but it is appreciated. I don't mind really sharing my ups and downs, hopefully someone can learn something from it and not lose 52 fkn BI in a session.

My friend Kris (Dashornman on PS) came up to visit for a few days and it was very +++EV for my grinding/profitability. He is an up and comer still at the micro stakes but is starting to improve his work ethic for the better. While he was here, I decided to started 24 tabling 6 max the last few days with really great results the first 15 or so sessions. I feel like I play way way better at 6 max and spew way way less. I love how they don't always have AA, KK vs me which seems to always be the case at full ring lol. I do get pretty bored playing so nittish and non spewy though, once in awhile i still try to get it in preflop with a 106o type hand. I have probably played about 50k hands at nl50 6 max before this month and had great results there also so hopefully I can have continued success.

Here are my stats so far, I have still been playing short sessions and booking the 3-5 BI but got stuck alot one session so had to grind it back lol. To be honest I really don't know to much about ideal 6max stats yet so will need to start learning some more about them.

had a 14 table session today and had been playing for 3 hours and it was going really well.

Then i hear my friends cominging home from a night of drinking.

I got 3 big pots going and have a big draw on 1 table and basically the nuts on the other tables, (top set vs aggro spewfish with pot already of 100bb with like 60bb each behind on turn) and another hand where i had flopped nutstraight after making a 3bet bluff with 97o vs a nit tag, who flatted my 3b.

2 of my friends comes into my room and start jumping on me and pulling me down on the floor..

im screaming like a crazy nazi and keep hitting them with my fist screaming at them to let go of me cuz im in big pots atm..

im breaking loose and hits one of the guys as hard as i can on his chest and runs back to the computer.

results, ive timed out on all tables and autofolded all of the 3 hands..

god fucking retards. just wanna kill them all fucking drunk bitches.

prolly lost atleast 3 buy ins of ev in those hands..

Okay well I am a fucking idiot so I did it again. Was up 5.4k on the month before yesterday and after yesterday was down -80 dollars. How it is possible to do twice in the matter of weeks I do not know.



Words can't really describe how I felt after these 2 separate sessions. I basically played like 7k hands in the afternoon and lost 3k and was sad, hung out with a girl and then decided to give it another go and lost 2.5k more. After I finally quit I just layed in bed and contemplated what to do next. If there was ever a chance I was going to do suicide in my life, this was as close as I could have been. Luckily I didn't leave my apartment, didn't leave the bed, instead just loaded up a movie and tried to fall asleep. The feeling in my stomach was just an aching one and in my head was a feeling of doubt/wonder. Wondering if I could still win at poker again, wondering if poker was for me still, wondering if I should just quit and get a job and say fuck it. I really don't know If i can put myself through that again to be honest, and I am trying to figure out a way to fix this in the future. I have a bunch of bets still this month on me getting to 10k made at nl100 and I am still confident I can make it. After today I am up around 500 dollars total. The climb up will be harder now but it is one I think I can make and succeed at and ultimatly accomplish. I appreciate the many people posting kind words towards me through 2p2 and friends calling me to make sure I am okay. Defintly makes me feel better about the whole situation. Ye im a failure. Cashgames and donkaments have gone really bad during the wsop. Im happy how I played almost every hand in the donkaments but i definitely spewed in cash alot.

Anyways, I busted the WSOP ME after 3 hours. I had an ok table i guess, a couple of softspots but unfortunately I had this very agressive cashgame player Ive to my left. Ive actually played with him before in a cashgame in copenhagen. To my right I had the guy who won the 50k horse this year. Rest of the table was a mix of young decent players and old fish.

Only two really interesting hands I think and both are in the second level.

I have around 31k at 100/200, two people limp and the 50k horse winner raises to 650 in the co. He has 15k in chips. I make it 2k otb with AKo. Villian tanks and 4-bets to like 5k. This was a weird hand because villian had been kinda inline and so had i but on lvl 2 he started loosening up a bit and I had been really active the last few orbits. I was very close to folding but I eventually jammed and he snapped with KK gg.

So now im down to 15k and I play tight for like 20 min until I pick up 94s and open it in mp. The good internet guy to my left calls and an old nit calls in the sb. Flop comes 9s9x5s. I bet 1200 young dude makes it 3k old nit folds. I tank for a while and jam my last 12k in, villian snapcalls with As7s turn 6s river brick. GG LIFE.

Ye so the wsop was a huge disapointment pokerwise, dropped like 20k total in donkaments and cash. I might play a 2k donkament tomorrow at the bellagio but not sure. Atleast Ive gotten really motivated to grind again so when I get back to sweden i will try to grind a ton online again.

Lets get the poker update done here. Currently am ridiculously crushing NL100 this month, just finished up a 998 hand +811 session. Bringing my monthly total so far to +$4,600





Still have been putting in 3 short sessions each day with amazing results so far. I have talked with a few friends and we came up with some reasons why I have been able to be so effective doing this but they said I probably should not post them anywhere incase other nl100 pros read anything I write. I am hoping to hit my 10k goal and win my prop bets within the next week and with the pace that I am on I feel like it shouldn't be a problem at all.

The last few months I have really been trying to stay 100% focused on playing poker/ getting better/ winning money/ etc etc. Me and a good friend of mine have been talking about moving out to the San Diego area and crush pokers out there/get away and meet some new people. This month will be a huge deciding factor on if and when things happen and I wanted to not let anything get in the way. So of course I decide to go out with a bunch of family to a town fest in this area and end up meeting someone. Then instead of spending later that night playing poker/ winning my prop bet, I decide to talk to her on the phone all night and not go to sleep until early AM therefore fucking up my schedule for the next day. Then yesterday on the 4th I played a morning session and a little afternoon session and then decide to go hang out with her the rest of the night till like 4AM. So much for staying focused.

I suppose things like this make your overall life more +ev but it is very very -ev to my overall poker. It gets me very distracted and I lose focus on playing/my goals. I've been trying to find some sort of balance with an obsession over a girl/girls and playing poker/studying poker all the time but have been unsuccessful so far in this. Maybe someone has some tips how to better manage this. Luckily I am very very far ahead on my prop bet so I'm not worried about it that much but am worried about how it could potentially affect me in the future as my big downswing last month was directly coorlated with issues with some hoe/girl. (as my other 2 downswings in the past have been as well)

So far my 10K at NL100 challenge is going really well.



So far I have been limiting myself to shorter +3-6 BI sessions and then stopping to play again later. It has gone really well doing this so far as I have been playing a morning/afternoon/night session. Here are the results for that so far.



As you can see most of the sessions are super super short with the exception of the one where i got stuck alot right away and had to grind back up to even. I have done this in the past before with awesome results each time so hopefully I can continue with it this month. I somehow booked about 2.5k more in action against me hitting 10k but I am pretty sure I will not be getting anymore action. Total I have around 8k in Props now so hopefully I can take them all down.

I have a few volume prop bets also this month but at this rate I feel like i wont hit them playing nl100 because I really don't want to potentially have a big bad session so I will most likely put in the hands at nl50 6max or nl200 FR.

I really don't know how/why I am winning so much right away at the start of my sessions. Usually I will just load up 10+ empty tables and then join other tables when I start my session and the players that sit with me to start tables are super bad and I win alot right away. I see how jrockhaf has been able to win so much at his sick winrate by doing this. I have been working on my HU/shorthanded game alot lately and feel my progress is going really well. Hopefully can keep studying my game/watching videos and get better.

Played 3 sessions today, first 2 were short and sweet and went well, was up 6 BI. last session tonight games were super good but just couldn't get anything going and was down 6-7 BI seemed for hours. Low point was 1.3k down but ended up the session after 13k hands +77 and total for the day 733 with around 7k vpp

Feeling pretty confident so far that I will be able to get to 10k profit pretty easy, as long as I can avoid the -2k sessions which I know are going to happen. Was playing like a fucking psycho tonight with crazy 3bet, I have been able to calm it down lately and win every session but tonight just couldn't contain myself. Need to really work on that hard for this month.

Okay so June actually didn't end that badly considering i was down like 15k at one point. Ended up +1k in mtt and +2k in fpp so overall was only down around 4.3kish which I am very happy with.




I obv regret playing 5/10 and 3/6 6max when I really didnt play higher then nl100 6 max ever before. Probably won't make this same mistake again but who knows. I can't play higher then nl200 b4 I make 10k since my 52 BI downswing so I think I'm around halfway there. I am still also way behind SNE pace but still think I can make it with some sicko grinding.

For July I have a few prop bets. I found action on me making it to 10k profit at NL100 FR and I might play some 6max which counts also but I doubt I will play much if any. Also have some bets with 3J55 and PHIDELT799 where I have to make more then either of them or they win so basically who makes more bet. Petteytheft also says he will make 16k at nl200 this month so we bet 2k on that if he does and I dont make 10k then he wins and viceversa. If we both do it then its a push. Also made some volume prop bets with a few different people so I am going to need to play 200k hands min. Should be an exciting month and I plan to make around 100k+ VPP and hopefully 20k in profit from playing/fpp/milestone.

Hello all, last few days have been going well, am at about 20 winning sessions in a row right now and feeling pretty good. Have some team full ring challenge from 2p2 coming up next month so kinda excited to see if our team can win it, basically they did some forumla that combines hands played+winrate with some weird multiplier and best overall team average of like 7 people on each wins.

Also trying to get a few more prop bets for next month, (I am currently up 100 dollars at nl100 this month) I offered to any ps/ftp player to prop me who makes more total profit (non fpp/milestone) next month at nl100 but got no takers so now

I want to see if I can get action that I make 10k next month at NL100. I have never made more then 6k in a month before there so should be pretty easy money for most.

I think going to have the line at 2-1 as already have some interest from 2p2 people

Current #1 person on tableratings is only at 10.3k and those guys are awesome and I suck. If anyone wants to bet this with me let me know thanks.

Passed on going out tonight cause I wanted to play the event tomorrow. Played 5/10 for a couple of hours at the red rock casino instead. Aj has talked about how soft that game is on the weekends but idk really. The game was soft but crappy cause of a couple of shorties and shit. I ran over the table pretty brutally but aj owned me in a couple of pots and i ended up down 1,5k or so. So I come home a bit pissed and shit cause Im down and because the game broke all of a sudden but w/e, Im playing the event tomorrow so I feel good about coming home pretty early.

Well, I guess not. Just talked to nolan on msn and apparently the event is full and I havent registered yet FML.

Such tilt cause I passed on a solid dinner at naked fish+ a night of clubbing with lpers to play a shitty 5-10 game and losing money.

Fuck this bullshit
