1 week left at working at the bank and I cant wait :D I'm going to work security until January until school ^_^ I'm really excited.

the 200 I started with has grown to 650~ and I might just play with that instead of depositing another 2k to play 100NL

Im a little newb at creating blogs here, so dont be harsh on me

So, what's your biggest winning streak or losing streak? Right now im on a terrible losing streak losing up to $35 in NL 10 since saturday. I just havent been able to win anything, despite the odds. I guess it's also due to not playing enough hands. So i've laid poker down until weekend. Playing 1-1:30 hrs is not enough.

Just before that i had won up to $50. I think one day i won 2.5 buyins just to lose them in the next two days. What's your experience with this stuff?

edit: btw how do you put up those graphs i see? do i need pkt 3?

One thing I've always really wanted to know is my turnover at poker. Rather than just profit (hands won - hands lost - rake) I want to know the total I'd have won if I'd never lost a pot, how much money goes through my hands etc. Any way of getting pokertracker to calculate it?

Really ugly graph today This is mostly because of two really badly played hands which lost a full buy in each, so if I played those hands better my profits for the day would be about 1.5x higher.

Over the last 12k hands I'm running at just over 5bb/100, this could obviously be a lot higher without the spews. Tomorrow I'm going to try my best to lay down every hand that I KNOW should be folded, but I keep pressing call anyway -_-.

For some reason the graph says 5 days when it has really been 6, does anyone know how to fix this, it tilts me

GOAL: END the spews, once I do this simple(?) adjustment I am 100% sure my win rate will drastically improve.

3 days ago i was 14k richer. san fran grinding started out so good with 2 weeks of winning every day at 400nl...ah well, I'm still up on this trip.

Coaching really helps, my game is improving, but I think this biggest part is that it helps me refocus and think about situations much better, because after grinding for hours I guess im losing focus and not playing my best, but a coaching session helps renew me.

interesting is that my sb bet is so much higher on Nl100 than on Nl50
maybe this means i 3 bet LP raisers too much oop ?
however i feel like at Nl100 everybody always raises any2 LP and i can 3 bet for FE and value a lot even from the blinds.

played a short Nl50 session 8tabling today and made 80$ in 1 h despite getting coolerd KK vs AA preflop for 1 buy in.
pretty happy with that and overall results . Its has been a good month
I am down a bit at Nl200 though which does not show since i didnt want to include
my NL50 results could be even be 200$ greener than this if i handt burned 4 buy ins due to 100% tilt yesterday
NL100 results semi suck imo but well i allready whined like a little biatch about it.


besides that i catched a cold
hopefully i ll be fine again soon.

Other things
Some friends and me bought a flight to Dublin ( Ireland) and plan to stay there for 7 days.
this will happen in ~ 3 weeks.

So I have been playing NL10 for a few days now, and I finally got PAHUD with my PT3 (still 2 month trial). I must say using a PAHUD feels like it's really an unfair advantage at the microstakes, it's almost like a complete map hack on starcraft. I watched SniderStyles $1/$2 NL video, and I learned so much, of course many things I can't use yet at microstake levels such as using your image to an advantage, because people at these stakes just play their cards, and I am now able to play them. Quite awesome to be honest.

Anyways, I have been running about 12.5bb/100 for the past few thousand hands now, so I guess I'm doing well. I did have one downswing, where i lost 2 buyins with things like AA to 44 PF etc... but it really is quite easy to play at this level now. I'm hoping that I can hit a BR suitable for NL25 by thanksgiving.

Other than that I've been grinding NL10 and playing some tournaments, doing fairly well and rebuilding my roll, working hard to not degen it away (actually a tough task for me) and working on discipline etc

I'm playing fantastic these days though, you should see me up at nl50 within a week or two

as it turns out, someone stole my old starcraft name on pokerstars.... that's weird....

i thought people only stole my name on starcraft. I don't own the name MYM.DAy[9] except on USWest. This includes iCCUP, PGT, all bnet servers, and every other ladder i've ever been on. i NEVER have my name on those hahaha.

but SERIOUSLY now someone is smurfing as me on pokerstars? so weird .

(ps, apparently the USEast MYM.DAy[9] is a real asshole. my apologies, as he is not me)

so i'm having this consistently weird problem w/ my internet. for some reason, like half the websites on the planet don't work: cnn, amazon, teamliquid etc.

i can however access google, liquidpoker, other major/random sites.

this is REALLY annoying me since i know that the internet isn't actually half-dead. i'm certain its my new stupid time warner cable service, but i'm wondering if there's any way to fix/possibly help?

the "half-access" occurs randomly for 20-30 minutes at a time.

In a nutshell..
*made my last update in the prop bet yesterday..
*started learning/teaching myself Camtasia
*I ended being up 24 hours total yesterday
*proceeded to get drunk as learning Camtasia to my satisfaction was boring and got semi-annoying
*I attempted a 9table video to blow off some steam while doing the prop bet and drinking all in one (yes Ca Gere your constant tilt opening shoving was caught on video and yes Shagsi my QQ call that I said in the video I would not normally do except drunk or for purposes of the video was caught too)
*went to sleep drunk thinking no big deal I have this, to ez
*woke up and realized in the shower that even though I am where I need to be on day 8, I am getting sidetracked and losing focus when if I had really wanted to (and things went my way) I could have this bet very close to being completely wrapped up if not done by now instead of being a little over halfway
*decided I do want to beat this prop bet
*so no more slacking off, getting sidetracked with a number of different things like I have the last few days

just thought I would let you guys know
I'm going to eat breakfast with my dad and come back and try to knock the rest of this out in good time
gotta stay focused!

hey all fellow lpers,

after not playing for like 5-7 weeks i restarted yesterday. i ad to cashout all of my money cuz i moved out of parents house. i start at pokerstars, normally i wouldnt but there i got the most motivation to start from the bottom again. mb its good to restart cuz somehow i stucked at my lvl and mb it makes click or smth
btw its nl 10 where i start from. and if u see me dont wonder why iam usin intelli avatar, its just because there i get 4 fpp per day just because i wear it.

yesterday i made 1 bi...didnt have the time to play long so not too bad

will post results in the future

like a week ago i put 35 in my stars account and SNG grinded up to 53

SNGs are really whack, i'm really tired of losing AK v AQ or AJ v AT or some dumb shit like AA/KK v J5 on the bubble. it's very frustrating, but the games are very very easy.

but cash games are way more profitable.

so continue grinding SNGs or switch to nl2 6max and domination?

BTW i bought disgaea 3 today, what a great game. and i also got pixeljunk monsters on PS3 off the PSN which is basically just a Tower D clone but it's fun as hell also
