Btw, if McCain is so damn healthy why is he hiding his health records? Seems pretty fucked up to me =
And a fun read:
She said "nucular." Twice.
I realized three things tonight. For one, if you are a McCain/Palin/Bush voter, you and I do not have a difference of opinion. We have a difference in brain power. Two, she really is as ignorant as I feared. And, three, she really is kinda hot. Basically, I want to have sex with her on my Barack Obama sheets while my wife reads aloud from the Constitution. (My wife is cool with this if I promise to "first wipe off Palin's tranny makeup." I married well.)
Now, I want to be clear and speak directly to those of you who LOVED that Palin interview. You're an idiot. I mean that. This is not one of those cases where we're going to agree to disagree. This isn't one of those situations where we debate it passionately and then walk away thinking that the other guy is wrong but argued well. I'm not going to think of you as a thoughtful but misguided person with different ideas who still really cares about the country and the world. No, sorry, not this time. This time, if you watched those interview excerpts and weren't scared out of your freakin' mind, then you're mentally ill, mentally disabled, or mentally disturbed. What you are NOT is responsible, informed, curious, thoughtful, mature, educated, empathetic, or remotely serious. I mean it.
But I like to think that anyone can change.
Stop voting for people you want to have a beer with. Stop voting for folksy. Stop voting for people who remind you of your neighbor. Stop voting for the ideologically intransigent, the staggeringly ignorant, and the blazingly incompetent.
Vote for someone smarter than you. Vote for someone who inspires you. Vote for someone who has not only traveled the world but who has also shown a deep understanding and compassion for it. The stakes are real and they're terrifyingly high. This election matters. It matters. It really matters. Let me say that one more time. This. Really. Matters.
how fast should you play´em?by remember87, September 14
I actually played my first winning session today since I started this blog. I really cant blame anything else but me for this. Lets hope I can play like today and keep going up from now
Today I want to have your opinion. I had some problems today with how fast or slow I should play some hands. What do you think?
Then I tried to compensate by playing very slow. Too small a bet on the river to be playing it this way? http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/526216
Finally the last hand for today: http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/526207
I cant put him on anything else but a big pair, kinda like JJ-QQ and in that case I dont have the odds to call the flop. Correct? Can he do this with AK?
Sorry for the delay in updates, I really meant it when I said i was gonna update regularly again. WCOOP kinda put me in a gruelling schedule though. I'm going to bed at 9 am every day and I play massive tournaments and 10,000 hands or more every day. I'll try and find some time tomorrow since there is no WCOOP tourney im gonna play on monday..
All 1/2 HU from 1 am to 6 am mostly 3-4 tabling and 2 tabling at the end. I probably would've kept playing but there was noone online and I haven't slept in a while.
Does Holdem Manager is compatible with PS sng?
I mean, do you have to enter manually the result etc... ?
With PT3 i have to do all the work manually for each sng which is horrible for me because i play A LOT of them currently. I dont want to lose time doing it, i already wasted so much time that it's not a problem anymore to buy another tracker&hud as long as it does the job for me.
Skip this paragraph if you care to skip to the point of this blog and don't care about the random musings of a microstakes player:
After spending a good deal of time at NL25, I'm pretty much machine grinding up a roll while replaying curious hands in my head during the session. I guess the downside to this approach is that I'm forced to act pretty quickly in some uncomfortable spots and usually fuck them up. On the other hand, 4tabling is too horrendously boring, and one appeal of massive 12 tabling is that I get to see more questionable spots more rapidly - which in its own way is really improving my game. So I guess I'm paying a price for 12 table entertainment and education in my PTBB/100, but whatever. The cacophony of "your turn" beeps that gradually crescendos into "hurry up, asshole" beeps and finally into other players spamming "zzzzz zzzzz" like rabid bumblebees - it's all music to my ears.
Anyway the whole point of this blog is to find out how you LP.nettians like to insult your opponents in the notes section while idling between hands. Currently I don't have many, but some of my favorites are:
-(DIE) liquid poker clown (for fellow LP.nettians). I forget the reference for this one.
- retard trappily. -Some comment by Rekrul
- DONATION STATION. -Myth in microstakes; gotta write this one in caps since that's how I like to imagine myth saying it.
I also like to turn players names into "RETARD" by replacing letters. I'm willing to replace up to 6, but I feel more clever if I can do it with less
Ok, sooo things were going pretty good for the first couple of people I played. I picked up 5 buyins between 3 people and I was feeling goooood. Then I ran into that certain kind of player I can't seem to adjust to. They call my PFR and fold 90% of flops, but sometimes randomly wake up and of course they always have the better hand. Examples:
Out flopped! I felt like I was beat here though... should of folded, probably? + Show Spoiler +

It sucks swinging like such a fucker from where I was, but I will keep working on it. I seem to be having trouble developing reads, or working up the balls to act on them.
So after my little fuck up at the end of august at 2/4 I decided to play 1/2 for a while. Today I decided to play 2/4 and things started off pretty well I 2 tabled against someone who I guess was a reg and quickly won 3 buyins or so. I then lost a big pot against him with AT vs 66 on a A56T board no biggie just a cooler.
Then a little while later I 3bet AK 175bb deep he calls. Flop comes 297 with a FD I cbet he calls turn comes offsuit 3, originally I was planning to c/c turn and most rivers but somehow I managed to misclick and minraise him. He quickly shoves and through some insane reasoning I talked myself into calling, right after the hand I felt pretty retarded and thought "what the fuck was that you're a retard quit asap" so I left right after.

Things pretty much just went back and forth, I would grind them down and one way or another double them up again and again till they decide to quit which is always after winning a big hand. Finally I decided to quit because I realize I wasn't playing well today so I went out to dinner with a couple of friends.
Buyin/Money wise today wasn't bad at all since this is like not even 5% of my BR but I'm pretty frustrated with the way I played today. I'm gonna go win 10 buyins at 1/2 and then play 2/4 again sometime this week.
my 100nl shot went really well coz i game selected really good looking for huge fish and when they busted i just left the table. i was playing 6 tables of 3/6 and 1 100nl table for fun. which turned out to be really profitable!
well i got crushed in 3/6 limit, made a grand total of negative $29 over 10khands sigh. was messing around too much with the regulars and some of them are terrible but some of them are really good i learnt alot. must have been funny for them to see this guy come out of nowhere making all sorts of crazy plays. apparently they were having none of it and snapped called my bs up lol.
anyway apparently in limit alot of players have 0bb at the lower stakes and 1bb is considered good, as rakeback is around 3bb. so im technically at 3bb now. for alot of players, the money they make comes from rakeback, which i will get soon when i reach 100kfpp points. anyway, i gained 60k fpp points this week so just 30k more points rofl. i have been mass playing and i should really stop playing poker for the moment.
heres one hand for all u miniraisers out there

It's not totally finished and might stay like this as it was just a test paint on the side of an old dead computer.
On the fish side since the last two blog post, I started producing massive amount of fishing lures. I guess those might do just fine custem chipholders too.
If someone has good suggestion I would be happy to shape it and see what turns out.
Finally hit my 30buyin requirement to take a shot at NL50. I've got to admit my heart was actually pounding on my first big hand but I think I played pretty good overall
I 2-tabled for just over an hour and ran at 82.5BB/100 OBV SUSTAINABLE.
So today was my 3rd shot at 25nl. Hopefully I stay here and continue to move up. I've noticed that i'm loosening up as ive moved up to 25nl, I think it is natural because there are far more nits at 25nl than 10nl so i'm 3betting and raising a lot more. At 10nl I would just be more selective and choose low-variance situations. Anyways, my third shot went well and i ended up around 2.5 buyins.
September so far and 6max sessionby Tycho, September 13
So I hit 6k this morning and figured since I'm sticking to my set goals so well I'd play a 6max session (cuz I have 30 buyins now). Hit a horrendous start but manned up and hit the green before stopping (offcourse losing a two pair vs trips 250$ just before I quit).
Some side notes:
- Pay attention to who are the biggest nits. Don't play too much back at them (especially AFTER the flop)
- Start a session conservative and wait until you have some decent stats on people before you start making plays.
- Don't miss thin valuebets on the river.
- 6max is hella more swingy then FR
