As most of you know I dropped out of school recently and I have tons of free time that I didnt have before. Therefor I have decided to start coaching!
I dont even know if anyone is interested in coaching but w/e. I will mainly focus on coaching HU since I consider that to be my best game. I still consider myself a pretty good 6-max player but having played almost only hu for several months now my 6-max game is definitely a little rusty.
I think I have a very solid HU game and I have a good grasp of what 6-max players struggle with when trying to get started playing HU. I have alot to teach and I think i personally would enjoy coaching alot, and hopefully so will you guys.
My rate is $150/h which i consider to be pretty cheap so yeah, send me a PM if you are interested and well set something up. Feel free to ask any questions about anything here in the blog aswell.
so i lucksacked in a 3 dolla rebuy the other day and got 3500 dollars on stars.
Which was nice.
But im posting to try and get a stake for flips, im sure i can beat flips my play is solid. lost 700 flippin with python77 on stars, but if you stake me i think you will see a positive roi.

This flippin session took my Bankroll below $10,000. goddamit. This is for anyone who thinks flipping is -EV
not really, but kind of... I had to cash out my roll for school so now im basically online busto after I had been apesmashing 50NL for 8ptbb over 16,500 hands this month and was about to move up to 100nl. Life is rigged.
anyone wanna stake me for busto stakes cash games (50NL). hit me up, holla
Yeah i have no fucking clue what my last graph was of. Confusing. Heres the graph that seems proper. I found my leak too, i need to pay closer attention to numbers.
what the fucking how am i so bad at 6max!:O Man. I guess im just gonna avoid it alltogether.
And i always felt pretty confident at 6max, much more so then at FR.
My profit on the button is nonexistant and the most money won is in the blinds? in fact 3x as much in SB as anywhere else? Am i reading the graph wrong?
My AQs is doing really bad it seems, at -184$=O I dont even know how will have to look over the HH. My AQo is +34.
My AKs is at -43 while my AKo is 2nd biggest winner at 336$. Weird.
Again, another reason I like Obama, cause he does ads like this:
Rather than lying ads like this:
Factcheck.org rips McCain's ad apart here saying 'A McCain campaign ad claims Obama's "one accomplishment" was a bill to teach sex ed to kindergarten kids. Don't believe it.' And if you do a bit of research you'll see pretty much every major news source calling the above ad a lie.
Plus, the funniest line of the campaign so far:
Also, can any conservatives who read this please do me a favor and post in the comments with URL's to right wing blogs and so on. I mean, I like to read huffpost - what's the right wing equivalent? What's the right wing daily kos? I wanna know so I can read those too. Trying to stay up on both sides and I realize I haven't given enough effort to checking the far right out. Brian, I am particularly hoping you'll help out here. Thanks
OK, since I'm still waiting for my PS-ban to be lifted, they suspect i might be 12. If you wanna know, just read my last blog.
So I had a big downswing,
1. run like crap
2. play like crap bcuz of no. 1.
3. post hands on LP, get some pointers and alot of usuck.
4. think about how to change my game.
5. run good and play better than before = success!
So yesterday while at work i got to thinking about the economy and poker. Now before i begin, i would like to tell everyone that i am very ignorant to this whole subject. All i know is that the economy is SHIT right now, and banks/insurance companies/housing is hitting the fan right now. I was reading up on it when i found a yahoo headline that said
"FDIC reports low on funds"
So i do know that an individual account is insured up to $100,000. Right now the FDIC is reporting they have $50 billion. They need over 1 Trillion dollars. They were saying they need to take out a loan from the government. Thats ATLEAST $950,000,000,000.
I know for a fact that they don't have the money. So a sortage in the FDIC means that when banks fail, and they don't have money, the "safety net" of the FDIC is failing as well. So if i can't get my money from the bank, i can't get money from the FDIC, that means there's no more money for me.
What i really wanted to touch up on in this post is this...I've never cashed out, i don't know what happens when you do. My buddy told me that on PS when you cash out you get a check from some bank in Atlanta....My thinking is, what if this bank doesn't have any money?? You can't cashout your roll, right?? So what happens when #1. my savings are gone #2. my checking is gone #3 my 300 roll on PS is gone???
A) Can #3, my roll, disappear?
B) Should i take all monies out of all account and just do it by cash??
Thoughts and opinions and answers on the BR thinking...
Hi !
First of all i'd really give many thanks to rgfdxm for allowing me to play ps for real ! Much <3
Played all night with a pretty tight bankroll but managed to grind it out.
Hope i won't doing anything stupid for the @#$%th time but so far i've not been tilting even when i lost to 2 huge pots. It'll learn me to be more patient !
Enough talk here are the graphs to anyone interested : http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/1011/gngngncz4.jpg
Ship it or not ?
I think i didn't grind it fast enough but well i'm not familiar enough with the stats either. Only 8/9% pfr but i guess it was because i keep calling all pairs in order to get a set except against 3bet pf... We'll see l8er if those stats stills works.
OK. It's not like a loan which you can't pay back yet. You did have the money (money which you didn't expect to have anyway and which was a bonus) and you chose to pocket some of that money which was not yours.
What plan or timeframe can you suggest to pay the money back? Thanks,
Oly

hey,
I hear what you are saying, and I would probably agree if I knew you well; but for both of us this is just a straight business deal, nothing personal either way (I hope). Please transfer the rest, I don't see any point in any disagreement here or any hard feelings. Cheers.

Yo pretty good stuff to wake up to. I see you must have beat Roman even after losing that KK hand (impressive); so at least it didn't end on a suckout. Cheers for the $900, but shouldn't the total be 3/4 of $1843.20 = $1382.40 or are you just doing 2 instalments or something?...
cheers dude,
Oly

cheers,
Oly
WAKEBOARRDER GIVE ME MY MONEY
If anyone knows him personally, kick his arse for me plz. I know this is obviously part of the risk you take when staking someone in return for the reward, but losing that gamble as opposed to the poker one sucks and I will do everything I can to recover my money.
ignore my previous blog posts, I dunno how i recovered so qucikly if the bad run even affected my play at all.. Too bad i have so much school i only put in ~3k hands? and im up 5.5 buyins w/o RB..
Well since my last blog post got bumped down in a matter of minutes by other shit blog posts I'd like to continue off on that note. Not only did I have to move back down to NL50 but running ass horrible here as well...man this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had this year. Its times like these that make me glad theres a way to learn and play better, but if the cashier shows my bankroll dwindling with every click theres little that can cheer me up...
Been a while since i posted so anyways, a while ago I had talked about starting a diet and well today makes one month since i started it and results are:
-11.5kg's or 25.35 lb's.
I went to a specialist who set up my diet plan and whatnot and just kept working out everyday. After 1st week i lost 5kg's and doc said I was losing weight too fast so I needed to add food. I decided then to let sundays as a free day where I can eat anything I want. I like this because it helps me keep honest on weekdays since I know I can pig out on sunday with no guilt trip. Also, i've read from some bodybuilding experts that doing this makes it so your body does not adjust to the diet as quickly, thus a longer period of constant weight loss.
I must say I love the feeling of having an empty stomache and I don't miss the days of eating until I burst. Even now on sundays if I order like a pizza for example, back in the day I would basically eat the whole thing in one sitting, now I am super full half way through it and can't stand anymore. I think more important than the diet is just really learning how to eat well and making sure once this doctor regulated diet is done that I will keep it sorta for life.
In poker, well its been going pretty good. I have mostly been playing 5/10 6max. Started trying out ftp in hu and a little 6max too. I had my biggest losing day last week where I tilted away around 12k but for the month I'm still up about 15k or so and doing surpsingly well in sports bets as well. I am however getting tired of the poker life, even though the money is good and all I don't find it satisfying and I'm sure plenty of people feel the same. I guess I need to find what I really wanna do and keep poker as a fun hobby. Originally I decided to take this year off after graduating univ. and just travel and play and hopefully figure out whats next in the process. But atm I am getting a bit sick of my lifestyle and still haven't figured out anything hehe. In some ways it hurts me to think about getting a regular job with a shit pay where you have to work on a regular schedule when I am used to such a easy/nice life. Grass is always greener on the other side I guess or maybe its just my instinct of being unsatisfied with whatever i'm doing.
This week looks very promising in funness as my sister is running this alternative music festival and a lotta good bands coming to play in it. I particularly am looking forward to seeing Peter Bjorn and John, here is a well known track of theres:
and also Shout out Louds, a track of theirs:
Shes gonna do a tour with them and other bands around a few places in Brazil, I'll probably tag along in my city and in Sao Paulo, just because SP kicks ass.
And thats about it.
