She still has some leaks but it's been pretty smooth over 4BB/100 for the last 30k hands. I for one shouldn't be talking, I'm running -0,15BB/100 for 115k at NL50 since november. Rakeback is the only thing that helps me sleep. If some of you has any ideas please feel free to comment.

i've told people that i've been writing one but i havent really shown anyone. with all our financials from our daily sessions and personal stuff.... i don't know if i'm all that comfortable showing it without a little anonymity. but the more i think of it i'm leaning towards leaving it out in the open, i mean who am i to think that people think so importantly of me anyway? one of the main benefits of letting others into my life would be to bridge the gap between normal people with normal jobs(100 percent of the people i know) and me. i hate explaining myself, some people get it somewhat and others are like ........derp. i might just be over thinking this a bit but would hate to see negative backlash from this. so any input from all you bloggers out there would be fantastic.

part of my new year's resolution is to get out more often, as i live 13 minutes(subway ride) from NYC. i stayed away from going out last year so much cuz i used to party 4-6 times a week for 5 years straight! however i totally turned into a degenerate online poker hermit in 08, so im making a very conscious effort to make it out at least once a week (which doesnt include walking 10 feet to my local bar and getting drunk).

took a bunch of random pictures that i really dont remember(i cant believe im that guy who takes too many pictures now, and all for blogs sake) this is at Volstead located at Midtown East. ive been to this place before but dont remember it....standard. as usual the bar is overcrowded a double Maker's costed like 15 (got it on rocks even though i specified neat) and everyone is just playing a big game of look cool as possible without talking or moving(in poker terms, it's like razz but less fun). this is a phenomenon i just don't quite understand yet, i'd rather just sit at a crappy dive bar and potty mouth with the locals. nonetheless i had a great time, saw people i havent seen in ages, and don't recall a lot of it.

i have a friend, "ug" (his last name is lee, hence "ug" lee, from salute your shorts), whenever i go out with him he gets like boyband attention. he often gets raped by girls (most of you see this as a good thing), but he always seem like he got victimized so i feel bad. Fellas.....i would like to tell you he fought the good fight .....bah forgot the rest of that shawshank redemption line. reason for this story......well he is the EAST COAST version of Jonnycosmo(he is chinese, not sure what jonny is), but seriously, any time i go out he has like A list celebrity status with girls of all nations(even tranny's)! one of the nicest kids i know and he actually did play online poker for a bit.

ugh. 3rd day in a row of not even reaching 200 hands for the day.

While I should be happy with the direct monetary results (44ptbb/100 over 400 hands) and am happy with them, at the same time I am very disappointed in myself that I havent found the discipline to get myself into 'game shape' to tackle the tables in prime mental shape.

Also need to read A LOT more, particularly on villain ranges. If you guys know any threads/articles I should be reading and analyzing other than the ones in the 2p2 uNL sticky (here) please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.

hands 2580 to 17k~ is my shot at nl50. nice mountain eh?
after 17k is just nl25 rebuilding more of my roll.

so I hit gold star yesterday, I will play in the gold freerolls this month and next month and also try and do the 20k weeklies for silvers, which I have not played in yet. Today was a friend's birthday, so I opted to not play.

In other news, my Cake Poker check cleared at the bank so I have some spending money
My Stars eChecks cash out request was denied for some reason and they told me to try again so I did.

I deposited $600 (the limit) for my FTP account and played about 65 hands just to mess with the HUD on one table. I like the bet pot button but dislike the fact there are no cash game filters that are as nice as Star's. I'll deposit $400 more for $1000 total when I get the chance and grind NL25 for 10 buy-ins and then take a shot at NL50.

Feel kinda sick still so not gonna put in a session tonight, but I will see about tomorrow.

Ok so I just had a 13 hour session (yea I'm sick like that) which is by far the longest I've ever gone. I don't even know how or why I grinded for that long, but I did. I guess I'm just logging hands to catch up for my month long slacking off and I want to grind through this downswing really badly.

Well I didn't run so great, won 0.8 BI in 9.4k hands lol??? I was running massively under EV- and just getting brutally beat all over the place. I'm pretty pleased with the way I played for the most part but I think I can safely say that I'm going through a downswing. I'm trying my hardest to improve my post flop game because it's pretty shitty imo and I bleed lots of money in non-sd pots and sometimes I'm too stationy with one-pair type hands. But I've increased my aggression, especially on the turn and river and it's improved my play so much imo. I'm taking down a lot more medium sized pots, and getting in nice river value bets which I was missing before. But I still think my biggest leaks are postflop and I'm still not sure how to go around fixing it (I experiment mostly but I'm just leaking a lot). Oh well, hopefully I'll "get it" soon enough.

So i decided to take a few days off the tables, but I returned yesterday. Tightened up a bit, stopped bleeding money, which I think was a leak of mine before, I was playing a bit too spewy, and that style didnt seem to work out so well on NL25.

Well, first it started off very good, but then I started getting some suckouts and ran into a few setups, well end of story, I didnt gain any money, I actually lost even more. I received my rakeback from last month a few days ago, so my bankroll was on 400$ again. But now its about 330..

Oh well, not sure what i'm supposed to do. Im about to lose my confidence in my skills. Last month I really fighted and could turn a losing month into a winning one, and actually I felt like I crush the limit, but nowadays I feel like I don't even have an edge somehow. I expected a lot from this month, and instead it seems like I can't even beat NL25 which feels really pathetic and fucks with my mind a lot. Especially because I used to be a winner on NL200( but more than a year ago.. games probably gotten a lot tougher and maybe I suck now.. ).
Everybody seems to make money, and I feel like I cant even beat these silly stakes anymore... quite depressing.
I think if I won't have success with poker soon I might as well completely quit. But that would not make me very happy, because I dont like to give up.

But after all it was maybe only a fluke that I used to have success... ahh I really don't know anymore.

Oh well end of rambling post..

so i didnt go out last night cuz i spent most of the day trying to cure my hangover(im such a wanker puss these days), so i played a night session that went like this.....

usually minus -16 buys doesnt affect me too much, but this time it was a little weird. since november 08 my variance has skyrocketed. december was decent but i still was experiencing too many days of -15 buy days. so it's gotta be a change in my game right? i know there are quite a few leaks(some which i have to accept for massive multitabling and some that are definitely fixable), so i minimized down to 6-8 tables.......it was evident from the get go that i was playing far too many hands out of position. that being said......i'm just running like crap! i counted exactly 12 hands where i got in 75 + bb with the nuts against a set and exactly 10 turned to boats and on the flip side made TWO boats with 16 different sets on the flop(most of these werent even against nut hands, they were against draws most of which ended up hitting). my bankroll is hurting a little but i still got bonuses covering all my losses so i'm still green, but i cant be running like this every month can i? i'd really hate to be making like 12k bonuses a month and only seeing 5k of it, POINTLESS, id rather be SHOESALESMAN!
