ugh. 3rd day in a row of not even reaching 200 hands for the day.
While I should be happy with the direct monetary results (44ptbb/100 over 400 hands) and am happy with them, at the same time I am very disappointed in myself that I havent found the discipline to get myself into 'game shape' to tackle the tables in prime mental shape.
Also need to read A LOT more, particularly on villain ranges. If you guys know any threads/articles I should be reading and analyzing other than the ones in the 2p2 uNL sticky (here) please let me know, I'd greatly appreciate it.

do you really have the drive needed for this game? how could you play only 200 hands lol that's like 30 minutes of 4tabling
which put me in a predicament where I could play but in a reduced mental state TT.
I could have put the hours in each day, but I had debated with myself whether it is even worth it if I'm not going to have full focus and attention on what and why I am betting/folding.
Today and Yesterday I could hardly play b/c of Stars lag (which just sucked donkey balls), esp b/c my internet is SO weak to begin with (even w/o Stars lag it's common for it to randomly cut out every few minutes, which is why I can only play on slow tables - otherwise I will get mass sitouts when I return).
edit: bah that's just excuses kla;jsdf09asjdofialjsd;lkfj

ah I get it then if u don't think you are going to play well for whatever reason, you shouldn't ^^
also your internet thing.. that reallllly sucks >< fix it
I think you have a point though, in that I should be adjusting and modifying my sleep schedule and patterns so that I create situations and time slots where I can basically ALWAYS play at the top of my game.
An example would be going to sleep by midnight, waking up at 8am, eating light breakfast, showering, then hitting the tables for 2 hours, THEN doing whatever the hell I need to take care of, instead of staying awake until 4am like I am NOW!!
I think I can replace "drive" with "dedication", which would lead me to form a way of life that is conducive to me performing at my best and being able to put in the necessary hours. Trying to play in the evening is senseless if I have no reason why I can't be playing in the mornings.
Alright, I think I've talked myself into this argument sufficiently now. GOING TO SLEEP!

ya you should definitely organize yourself into a way where you can comfortably play 2 hours a day or so. I always fuck up my sleeping schedule and shit, but luckily my life is pretty responsibility free except for classes

well i didnt play any hands friday/sat cos i was at the beach ^^;;. Came back tonight an got about 2 hours worth tho.
Gl finding more time to play, regardless of how long u spend playing, you seem to have the drive to learn a lot about the game which is probably the biggest part of poker, gl

Wow how many boards are you playing to not even get 200 hands in during a session? Like the other guy said, this only takes one hour on four boards. Also, if your br is keeping you from playing more tables, you should consider bumping down a bit for more tables. Experience is so key at lower limits, and if you are hurting on spare time then you might want to consider this more as well.

or yeah, just gain experience, find intertesting hands that go to showdown, walk through the hand from the villains point of view, figure out what they are thinking.
