It all starts with a mistype. Maybe I should incorporate 1/4 stack raise into my regular game...

Inspired by Night's NL100 shot blog, I took a long overdue NL100 shot of my own. It's harder than 50, I can't even say I ran bad, other than being a lil card dead. Other than winning a major cooler most of my money came from double barreling and squeezes, so I think if I actually get some cards I'll eventually be alright.
So this year I've been playing 2/4 PLO almost exclusively (some 3/6 to fill tables). I've played about 60k hands or so and it's been going surprisingly well. I was kind of a fish when I first jumped right into 2/4 but I've sort of impressed myself at how fast I've adjusted to the game, and would say that as of right now I'm either one of the best running (more likely) regulars in the game, or that I have a fairly significant edge over the field.
I feel my "edge" more in PLO than I ever did in hold 'em interestingly enough, and it only took about 4 or 5 ~30 bi swinging days for me to get used to the swings. I've always been overrolled so maybe PLO was made for me.
I'm really nervous/excited about how well I've been doing and how comfortable I feel. I plan to aggressively move up and cycle in 5/10 and 10/20 tables as necessary. I talked to another PLO reg who got SNE last year solely from PLO and think that this is a reasonable goal for me as well. I'd only need to put in 80k hands a month which is certainly doable, although it's worth noting that PLO hands go MUCH slower than NLHE, so it takes about twice as much time hour wise for me to get that many hands in.
Here's a graph from my desktop that is unfortunately missing about 60% of my volume from the laptop at PCA/Foxwoods.
As you can see there are a lot of swongs, but I'm pulling 5.8ptbb this month so undoubtedly running good. I've only been one outted once and have one-outted others twice.
My heads up game is pretty weak, but I've been trying to work on it more. It's tough though as I'm always 16 tabling. This graph is almost 100% 16 tabling 2/4 and a little 3/6.
In other news, I got some sick jams for all of you.
A 2000's classic:
A sick new Jay-Z song that should have got radio play but didn't:
A sick freestyle over an old sick biggie beat:
I originally made this blog post to point out I'm giving serious consideration to "quitting" NLHE in liue of pursuing SNE and my feeling that my edge is actually greater at PLO despite me picking up the game only in the last six months.
Im to lazy to randomly hassle my msnlist so ill just post it here, looking for 10k on FTP for 10k on stars. If you wanna do less than that its fine with me, only reputable members obv.
Lol I think I am going to become superstitious, when a sick fish is running like god I should just delete my poker application until the next day.
This was the end of my session, I had already given up(why I just played it like a retard on turn/river, my eyes were glazed cuz I just got stacked in the hand below :D), this was the only pot I won past the flop. ONLY ONE LOL. Every flop was completely uncbettable, and I whiffed every time.

The rest was shit like this, or me trying to bluff that DSP guy or another sick station when they couldn't lay down 3rd pair on the river.
Blehhhhhhh
I hope I run better the rest of the day, nl50/maybe some tournies
Gonna take another shot next time I'm at 1850+ I think.
Hy everyone, it's been a while since my last post.
So many things happends during this time. I passed my exams, where i get a nice success for all of them except the two last one where i cant woke me up cause too much partying.
Pretty donky but not a big deal, just have to do them in june.
Pokerwise, i cash out my entire bankroll from pp, ~3k for my Snow trip. Spend too much money like a donkey, partying and buying 300$ bottle in totall black out. But was really good. Update pics when i'll be back home
So i will deposit 1K and rebuild again but dont really know on which room, no more pp b/c of black jack and casino boxs.
I think im gonna deposit on PS or FTP, not sure atm, ftp for the rakeback but i really hate the soft. But i don't know if i can earn the same amount in bonuses with fpp than with FTP rakeback. Any idea ? I plan to grind 4h/day on max 6tables in 6max. Will have to adapt/improve my game to the new players coz games are not so soft than on pp i think.
So see you for the next graph month. Gl on the tables

Big low-stake tourny score :Dby Ftrunkz, January 25
Well, after coming 7th in the $30k garantee'd and earning a score ~twice the size of my bankroll, ive jumped from just starting a NL25 shot to being well rolled for NL50.
I've been really crushing the micro levels i've been playing, and whilst i didnt get much experiance at NL25, it didnt seem to play much differently to NL10 at all, thus i have decided to take the NL50 shot straight away, giving myself 5 BI's to make it work, if not ill drop back down to NL25 and grind back up the money.
I'm also considering paying someone to sweat me for a session whilst i now have the excess money and BR to do it, although i have no idea what the real cost of this is, nor how it generally works.
Anyways, this blog posts was really quick and probably rambles on about general nothing (its 2:30am here and i'm quite tired =[), but i feel like not posting something after such an eventful day wouldnt be right at all. So here it is, lol.
Feel free to comment on my plans to jump to NL50 straight away, also any information anyone has about getting someone to sweat me, costs, if it is worth it, who's someone who is good willing to do it for not a ridiculous amount, etc. etc.
5 people posted their blogs instantly after mine and it got a grand total of 5 views, so I'll just repost it, hoping for some replies.
Hey guys, I started January (my third month of poker) with a ~500$ bankroll, playing NL25 and a few NL50 shots.
The month started off really well, I got my bankroll up to 1000 quickly, switched to NL50 and things went smoothly there from the start. I have a 13bb/100 winrate at NL50 after 20k hands, which I guess is both an indication that I have an edge there and that I ran pretty good.
I got my bankroll up to 1850, then decided to take a shot at NL100. Things have been going pretty badly since then, I started off well, getting my BR up to 2350 despite running pretty badly, but have been on a downswing since then.
I guess I really shouldn't complain because this was bound to happen sometime and I ran good before now, but I ran really, really terribly in the last few days. I've actually lost about 300$ with flopped sets at NL100 because I ran into a ridiculous amount of coolers and I don't even want to talk about my results with pocket aces.
Anyway, this is my graph for the month so far, I'll move back down to NL50 because my BR's back at 1400 (it was at 1700 10 minutes ago, but I just lost 2 AI for 150bb with set vs straight and flush over flush lol).
All in all, I guess a 1.5k month (with RB) isn't bad since this is only my third month, but it's still a really disappointing end.
Made more money in 3 days playing HU SnG's then I've made playing micro cashgames for like the last 3-4 weeks of not to much winnings..
Also I play the SUPER TURBO wich is really sick, but I have such an edge over my opponent and I've noticed that there is really 0 regs playing super turbo's and every1 is just terrible so I'll stick to them for a while cuz its just suuuuuch fast money
Been doing pretty good, def wininng 66% or more the last like 150 tours Ive played, also made a decent cash in a MTT lastnight.. Though I kinda was unhappy cuz I went out with AA vs QJs when me and the chipleader clashed into each other on the final table on AJT flop. He rivered the K so I was a little unhappy cuz if I've won that pot I woulda been dominating chipleader and prolly won or atleast made top 3 and won a couple of 1000$.. Cuz every1 really sucked at the final table
Hu sng's doing really good anyways, will stick to them for a while.
But I def feel im back on track, 4 doubled my roll in 1 month give or take a couple of days
Anyways, whats a good BR for Mtt's generally? Like 100-150 buy ins? Or more? Any good advice?
4.6 hrs played so far...looking to play atleast 6 hrs a day
I have 3000 FPP right now, im aiming for SN by April 5th
probably put in more time soon, gonna take a break for a little bit, lately ive been playing 1-2 hr sessions and taking a break, it seems to help my focus and concentration a lot, also stopped looking at cashier til the session is over, which makes me sweat each hand way less. (sometimes just a 3-5 minute break and staying on the tables, other times closing them and relaxing until im juiced to play again)
Maybe it's still a bit premature to pronounce myself as a NL25 reg, but the results thus far have been encouraging.
I'm not sure why/how my AF is still above 5, or whether this is an issue to be taken seriously. Considering I play an incredibly nitty style, maybe it is relatively permissible since I do have decent hands more often than not when I reach the flop and beyond.
So my BR is now over 500, and i've been doing pretty well in nl25 in the past 2 days.
i [degeneratly] started playing nl25 when i was at 280 in my BR, and have bene chugging along. If my stake guy comes back, i should have around 600 in my BR and i want to continue my current trend of playing nl25 at a decent level.
However, i do feel like a huge nit, especially with AK and JJ. I seem to find a fold a lot with AK and JJ preflop and post flop, but I don't know if that's good or not.
The HUSnG has helped my reading skills, and the videos from CR have really helped me learn a lot about 6max games in general.
overall, here is a picture for the past 2 days (i'm running at 12ptbb/100)
shout out to mikeymoo who has been helping me with hands, and all the other people who answer my dumb questions in the hands section
