Just wanted to know who's played the brick and mortar tables there since it opened last week? I passed by there on Friday night with a friend, hoping to play some but they only had 3 tables of 1/2 running and a 46 person wait list... so ya that didn't happen.
So there's someone new to the LP forums who likes to triple, quadruple and even quintuple post in pretty much every thread or blog he visits. Maybe I'm just old school but I believe in the "edit" button, and asked that person to use it after they've been spamming my blog with a million posts which usually are just there to share a link to something about Ron Paul. I don't think that's unreasonable... do you?

Dude I've stopped replying to you most of the time cause you say the same thing over and over and I thought we both agreed that we disagreed so there seemed to be no point in saying anything. Plus you basically just blast lots of ron paul promotion and I've already told you how I feel about him so again, nothing new to say. I did mention the multi-posting cause it's just annoying and bad forum etiquette, and I'm sure there's plenty of other people who feel the same way. was tilting. Can't really fold it but I was 90% sure he boated up. Even though it's a cooler, I was tilting.
I wasn't tilting because of the bad beats, but some pots that I haven't shown I made very, very poor decisions without thinking. There were some 3-4bet pots that I played very poorly in because I had 15 tables open. I also was making valuebets vs fish when I clearly had less than 50% equity vs their hand range without thinking, and making extremely poor calls. The extra 3 tables when I go from 12 -> 15 tables absolutely DESTROYS my winrate
Anyways, I'm still up for the month, and will be coming back to kill the tables later. I'll compensate for this blog post by having a monster session later.

just became a member on twoplustwo.com and i talked to some pretty cool ppl but wow..talked to some weirdos too..within the first few min of me posting a thread...i had ppl hitting me up asking to send pics of myself with my shirt and pants off to them and stuff
Last week I missed 3 days of work b/c i needed to drive my mom back and forth to radiation..
Well Monday I was bored and had 70$ on stars so I decided to play some HU rather than grind micro stakes; went on a heater and ended the day at around 300
Tuesday I 3-tabled Jose Torres and won ~7 bi's and ended the day close to 800
Wednesday I 3-tabled another reg, guy with the cookie monster as his avatar, and won 9 BI and ended the day at 1300
Went to work THursday and Friday, didnt play
Saturday played a bunch of tourneys and got pwned at HU, dropped down to ~900
Today I was getting owned and down to 700, and 3-tabled this guy.
Owned him so hard ;P I wasn't in for more than maybe 75 in any of these tables.
It's still not comfortable rolled for HU by any means, though. I think I am going to buy HEM (I am so sick of PT3) and maybe play some 6max for a while, or grind FR for some FPP's.
Quick update here, been grinding my balls off! Thursday I Got into town at noon, played 9 hours. Friday night I get back to the tables and play from 7pm - 2PM, sleep in my car LOL for 3 hours, and play from 5pm-3AM sunday morning. I'm running pretty good (even though I missed like 4 combo draws in a row.. finally hit one last night.. ofc it was the one where I was actually way behind instead of flipping/ahead lolpoker).
All I need is to run good at monday's freeroll (LOL freeroll is my first life tournament), win 1st place, then retire?
Last night I had a really awesome table as far as how fun it was (pretty soft as well).
Not too much else happening since all I've been doing is grinding! Gotta go transfer my gym membership and finally get my ass in the gym again, and get my car detailed and probably take it to the shop.. I guess in a couple of days if I don't hit a downer I should spend the money on that crap.. ugh
Finally got a withdraw going from cake. I have 8k online, figure I'll toss 5k in my bank account, and 3k onto UB in a couple of weeks. Still not sure how I am going to handle online vs live poker. I guess I will just sort of let that happen..

which also finally puts april into green after being down the first 3 days.
+ seems i found a game i can profitable play when bored of cashgame
23$ HU i played 20 so far in April and i am 15w-5l for + 213$ profits

Day 3 - Friday, March 13th
I eventually wake up around 4pm. Yup, 4pm. Ben and Gordon were out and about earlier, I have no idea what they were doing but w/e. Oh, right. One thing they did was go get Gordon's car @ Rhino. I had promised Steve that I would not let Gordon drive, since driving out of the Rhino in the middle of the night -> insta DUI k thnx. So after I wake up we head out to the Gun Store again (lol), this time as a party of 3. I go into life nit mode though and just opt to observe, as I feel that the money I spew won't bring me proportional joy, after having shot the shotgun the day before.
So it's already evening, so we go to Wynn buffet again to burn time. I call Myth to ask what's up, and apparently he's with his GF and Frinkx's mom, among others @ a cafe in the Wynn - Frinkx is deep in a tourney. We eventually finish dinner and I text Myth that we'll be @ the Wynn lounge so join us when they're done. Apparently I miss a msg from Myth and end up getting seated right next to him and his GF, running into each other on a whim. Karma is universal, so I take the tab for everyone (eventually becomes like 8 pple as Night and others arrive as well). After shooting the breeze for a few hours, we follow through on the original idea of going bowling (yea wut?).
Two hours of time burning @ the bowling alley, with Myth putting on a sick hustle lol. I forget his scores but they were definitely 50+ higher than the next score lol. Eventually Cookie calls us back to the Wynn, whereupon a mad rush of indecision shows itself. Half our party is moderately interested in going to Sapphire (another strip club), while the other half is lazy/wants to just play poker or smth. We all end up eventually deciding wtf to do, with 3 or 4 of us hitting the tables. Ended up having a heart to heart (LOL) with Steve over a small meal, much like we were doing @ the Rhino. I eventually get back to the hotel to find my two RL friends asleep (apparently after spewing money @ BJ and whatever else they played), and I do the same. A "slow" day by the week's standards, Friday the 13th.
OH wait actually Ben had to catch a 6am flight back to SFO so he actually GAMBOOOOOOOOOOOOLed then left the premises.

Yeah, 24, married for about 7 months now. (i know my life is over, i'm missing out blah blah blah). Anyway my wife has been playing poker a couple more years than I have, and I let her play on my account last Sunday... Anyway, she makes it to the final table of the $10 re-buy 70k guaranteed over 100k in the prize pool. About 4 or 5 handed i asked her how she was doing and she said "I have about 9 million in chips" I respond with "oh, shit! what's 2nd?" she replies "about 3 million". Anyway long story short she busted shaundeeb who came in 3rd I believe, and beat some other nerd who had his fanboys dick riding him through out the final table for a nice $15,800~ score. BAM! Now she can pay off her maxed out credit cards (joy).
br story: withdrew everything but 2400 jan 1. bought a car feb. bumped up roll to 7700 by end of feb and made another retarded withdrawal of 7k, left 700 for march then now i got almost 4k again, planning to redeposit the 7k back tomorrow and play 100nl and 200nl. i think i can say now i can beat 50nl and its time to move on up again to 100nl. now i no longer have any 50nl issues like last year
with an 11k roll, my goal is to get to 20k before my birthday by june and fly to vegas. wish me luck.

I have to struggle so fucking hard for every $ won, and losing everything is so fucking easy when you cant win a single fucking hand. Also im putting in so much time in this game but all I get is a spit in the face. I know that in poker anything can happen and you dont deserve to win a shit and all but it still feels so unfair. Maybe I should really stay on NL5 and just grind until I have some retarded amount of money so that I can piss away 20 buyins in 3k hands again on NL25 when the time has come. Got like 30 buyins left for NL25 but feels like nothing since with my luck I can easily piss them away in another 3k hands.
I found an interesting article today about a movement within the religious right which wants to quit politics. It's weird to see this after the last 20 years where the right wing Christians did everything they could to take over the Republican party and legislate their beliefs onto the rest of us. I always hated that shit and it made me pretty aggressive towards Christians. I always try my best to remember that not all Christians are morons like these fakers who are trying to mix church and state, but it can be hard at times.
So I personally think this is a great idea. Not only cause it would mean I wouldn't have to be so angry at the idiotic right wing Christian assholes anymore, but also cause I personally think it would do so much more to help build Christianity. It's weird cause I have so much animosity towards some Christians, but I share a lot of values and beliefs with the vast majority of Christians. I also know that there are lots of great Christians doing amazing work to help the world and they're motivated to do so by their belief in Jesus and god and so on. And I think that's fucking awesome. I'd love to see more of that in the world.
If people who call themselves Christians want to see any influence in the culture, then they ought to start following the commands of Jesus and people will be so amazed that they will be attracted to Him. The problem isn't political. The problem is moral and spiritual.... You have the choice between a way that works and brings no credit or money or national attention. Or, a way that doesn't work that gets you lots of attention and has little influence on the culture.
That makes sense to me. I feel like these right wing mega-preachers and so on lose all credibility cause it's clear they're either in it for the power, in it for the money, or total hypocrites who gay bash while they are closet fags and so on. If the preachers and the followers of Christianity really lived by what Jesus taught then I would be much more impressed with the religion and much more open to giving it a try. I'd also prefer that people stop interpreting everything Jesus said in a slanted way that allows them to hate on people (like hating on gays), but that's another debate. hehe.
On another note, I'm gonna repost a blog I wrote about my Vegas plans cause it was totally missed and I wanna make sure that you Vegas dwellers know I'm coming!

There are some work conflicts though. I'm working on a new website for my job and we're supposed to launch sometime this summer. We might launch in may and then I'll be able to be in town for the beginning of the WSOP at the beginning of June. In that case I'd do 1 week in vegas, then head back to CO. But there is a possibility that we'll end up launching in June and if that happens then I'll just have to miss out on the beginning of the WSOP and only come out for the 1 week during the main event.
Either way I'm definitely coming. I'm going to fly for the first trip and when my girl comes with me I want to drive it so we can hit up some fun stuff along the way in utah and arizona.
I guess the only other thing that might throw a wrench in the plan is if I somehow manage to downswing really painfully and lose my roll or have to play NL50 / NL100. Right now I'm able to be on NL200 so that gives me a bit more monetary freedom. Plus I will be rolled for cash games in vegas.
The big thing I have to do now is start practicing playing live. I suck at it and have a lot to learn and just need to put in the hours =)
