Finally had a great night at the casino it was a juice game we played 5/10$ min 2k entrance,and there where 3 huge fish that dont even know the rules siting with 5k each.Some random hands:
55 in Bttn some fish reise to 60 3 callers i call to flop 6 2 2 he reise to 250 everyone folds i make the call turn is 2 i know that he diddt have the over pair i put him on some aj ak tipe of hand ,he make it to 600 i call again river A(worst card i ddint really want to see it)but he decides to check i check back he shows kq gg me
few hands later got 8d9d in the bb its a straddel i complete 6 players in the hand:flop 56d7d NUTS and it goes check check bttn reise to 150$ i make it to 500 he shoves i snap call guys shows 66 HOLDDDD ONE TIME turn K river 2 weeeeeeeeeee ship it
stayed few more hours i leave the game with 3k profit so it's all good.So i guess that live poker is >then online when u have this huge fish at the table
i also try to improve my mtt game.Few months ago i had a tripp to Concord Casino in Wien was a interesting experience never
played live with more then 20 players in a tournement so was a different game there.
Stayed a week there and played like every tournemnt had 2 final tables ,one was the 115euro with 10kgtd i come in 8 for like 600euro nothing special but it was fun.I hope that i can go in the near future the cash games are sweet .Pm if u are from Austria i will probably come again in less then 1 month maybe spend the summer there


Also want to make a request for a stake for any kind of mtts that is running this weekend on pokerstars i really want to improve my tournement play.Pm if u are interested

Day 12: 12.6.09

Finally I had good sessions on NL50 at Betfair. Today I tried to play better so I tried to avoid some tough spots and play more solid and be more concentrated on game. It works and in 821 hands I made a profit $108.52. I have to play good now to win what I lost in last days.
I also played two satellites but without any result.
Tomorrow I will not play because I have volleyball tournament and than we will be drinking so I will maybe watch some videos but definitely not play.

Total result so far: 5045 hands, -$259.75

So I went working out, then I decided to play some more. Lost another 5bi. I don't actually think I play good or anything, it's just that I can't fold my overpairs (biggest losers today) and I get really passive when I'm afraid of every hand. I think I managed to 3betbluff pf once over about 3k hands today.

I know this looks like huge rant blog right now which I kinda despise (hint!) so I'll come to the point. I need to take a break. Right now I'm down probably something like 15bi or so for the month, haven't checked to closely but in that neighbourhood. I hate giving up weekend fish and such, but fuck it, unless I run and better it's not like I can win in any reasonable mid stakes game anyway. Therefore; break for a week. No more poker on prima until next Wednesday. Only poker I will allow me to play is primas sunday donkament (150k grtd or whatever) and donkaments and small/midstakes omaha/HU on FTP.

I need time to get back on track and I should work out/write stuff etc more anyway. No "GL" or "You'll come back" posts please, although appreciated I feel weak when people have the need to write that. Of course I'll be back, but somewhere you'll have to draw the line.

If anyone sees me playing higher then 1/2 on prima with the exceptions of what I wrote before (that donkament) before Wednesday CET (It's GMT +1 or -1 or whatever, it's to the right of London etc) I'll give 10k SEK (about 1k€) to a charity of your picking. It has to have a Swedish bank account I can send to or something else so that'd it be easy/safe for me to give away the money. I reserve the right to refuse sending to anything obviously immoral and/or stupid (from my point of view, which is really libertarian) so it'll have to help people in need. Won't send it to save some fucking whale or promote communism etc.

I'm playing 6max and like I said in my blog below, it's been about a month. Looking at the tables they don't look right. I think it's the cards. Didn't peoples cards used to be over their image and not on the table? The only thing on the table was the chips, right? It's fucking throwing me off. I'm so anal about these things.

I haven't played serious poker in a month. Holy crap. And now I'm trying to get myself back into the poker swing of things and it's a bit weird... doesn't feel right. Part of me is nervous that I'll play shitty, part of me isn't feeling as mentally strong as I was before I stopped, and part of me is really eager to get playing again.

Just gotta do it!

I have played a bit of poker but it was 2 live home games vs friends who are not very good, and 1 live tournament at the local casino which was kinda fun but it's not the same as online grinding, and it was for much less money than I normally play for online.

I am happy about one thing - live poker finally doesn't feel too slow to me as I've learned how to spend the time productively, searching for tells and so on. I feel a lot better about the idea of going to Vegas during the WSOP main event to play in the cash games and meet up with folks. Just gotta grind out btwn now and then so I can afford the trip!

Ok, time to get working and stop talking about working.

The good thing is that I'm still very well rolled for 3/6 and only down 10bi or so since I got home (of which half will be returned to me in form of rakeback). The bad part is that I'm now apparently incapable of beating anyone. I just played some dude who I strongly suspect had a lower IQ then my shoe size, and I'm fairly sure it was in the negatives. I was up like 5-6 bi and then the poker gods turned away from me. Think I'm down like 3.5k today, out of which 700 was to this dude. Ohh well, was bound to happen, no big deal. I guess I'll go work out or something.

Lesson of the day: Always stay when a big fish is sitting. Duh.

I was stuck like 1.2k today and by the end of the day I was +2.1k with a 3.8k stack at 2/5 with a $500 cap LULZ SWEET!

So it was a good day Hopefully it keeps up!

Also, I implore each and every one of you to buy Prototype.. the game is fucking SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeet!

NO, first i'm not quitting poker for losing 200BB.

I'm quitting poker because:

1. I obv suck at it, haven't made profit in at least 6months. Don't have discipline to apply BRM long enough.

2. Poker is evil, it eats your soul and slowly everything that surrounds you. Sometimes I think poker, play poker or longing for poker 24/7, not very sound imo.

3. Tired of loosing streaks which affect my well-being in a negative sense. Have a great life otherwise so why degenerate it with lousy plays and a lot of lost money. I will obv. never be a pro so maybe it's time for a new hobby.

5. I'm just sick and tired of the game, however, I will gladly play again someday but at the moment I hate it and also, the summer is here! A lot of parties,girls and other funnier stuff imo is coming up, why sit inside in front of your CPU when you can go out and meet people! Seems stupid, now poker is for the winter seasons!

Finally, all you guys that show big profits, live on poker and so on, congratz! In some way i'm sad that I'm not one of you. It seems like a nice way to spend your youth. But I have met several people how earned a lot on onlinepoker and they don't do jackshit with their money or possibilites that their grinding gives them. They just stay home in front of their cpu and play all and everyday. Of that i'm not jealous, it doesn't appeal to me at all. If I have been a pro I would first of all leave this cold country, maybe go to west indies or thailand, and grind from there. Why not having fun when making such a shitloads of money. I think I would grown restless only by staying home, meeting noone, and play online.

So my natural talent for tilting which results in a lousy BRM is major factors that make me quit along with my deep insight that I never will go pro or earn enough in relation to time spent at the tables. Like live-poker more, so maybe I'll change for that since I live very near the casino.

But here comes the break!

I suck to hard. Can't win a single "flip" with AK vs AJ...Have lost too much of my roll, have about 4-500e left, started with 600. But will receive some RB so I think I then might be back to where I started, a great time for a pause. I'm stuck in a mechanic mood where I'm afraid of everycard that falls on the board every single time, which prevents me from being creative and instead just trying to win the pot right away which is not a win-maxim way to play poker. Need a break and focus on other thing and then I might get back in July or Aug if I feel pokers fun again...
