Just wondering, everyone is talking about getting money to vegas and this and that, Ive called the rio trying to get a wiretransfer done but no dice there, they gave me some bullshit answer about me having to have a players card at the rio for a year blablabla.
Bottom line is, im in need of like 20k in vegas tops, cashing out from an atm I have a 3k limit per week, but cant you just buy chips at the rio/bellagio with my debit card and all will be well? I mean the biggest purchase would be like 10k for the ME and that isnt a terribly huge amount of money. Anyone know?
Oh and anyone who is in vegas feel free to pm your phone number so I can get in contact with someone when I arrive on monday.

I think a passport and credit/debit card at a bank (not at the atm) should sort out the problem? |

i'm guessing if u have a credit card you could get any amount, u'd just have to pay some fees, if ur limit isnt high enough you just transfer money from your bank account to the credit card, that's what i do when I travel and buy my stuff online as I only have 1.8k limit on my credit card |

Just write a check out to yourself in the amount of cash, and cash out real dollars at the bank? Dont the banks typically hault massive withdrawals when done electronically for obvious reasons? |

the CC idea sounded good till the fees came in... I know when I travel I use my american CC and never have trouble. Do you have a visa? wouldn't it not matter as long as they accept visa?
By the time I get there for the ME you'll be burnt out from 3 weeks of partying! You better save some energy for when I arrive, I wanna buy you a drink, it's the least I can do after all the help you've given me! |

here in the states, we are not allowed to buy chips with credit cards/debit cards. If the money is already in your checking account, just write a check and have the bank/credit department in the casino cash it, i'd find out more about the fees first. You can always just do cash, withdraw from your bank and carry the money on you in a money belt or something. Its only 20k, you can hide that easily. You can call a bank in vegas, setup a checking account and then ETF your money, usually takes 3-5 business days, then when you get here, withdraw all your money. GL |

Seriously though, u can bring any amount of money on you as long as you declare it. So try to get 50k on you at your bank in Sweden and declare it with customs. |

When u get to the Rio, go to the Main Cage and tell them that u need to wire money there, they will give u some instructions and shit. You will need your total rewards card for it too. |
