Newswriter wanted by Edjon, July 18

Hi everyone,

Don't expect any brags or whines, because I would be a zillion buy ins below my EV graph.
I have created this blog, because I am in search of a newswriter for our pokersite.
I won't link the site here, because I don't want this post to be considered as spam.

I can however give some info about the website and job.
The site, for which we search a newswriter, is founded a year ago by 2 Dutch men. They started a Dutch pokerforum website. 5 Months ago I joined them and my job is writing newsarticles, strategy articles, and reviews (books, software etc). This website is in Dutch and is doing relatively well.

Last December my colleagues added an English version of the site. For this site I write reviews and strategy articles too, but we are short of a newswriter.
We have created a site, for which we want supply all the info poker players need in a positive way. So whether you look for bonuses, strategy, book reviews or something else, we want to offer it. This is a big goal, but we are working hard and making progress.
Our English site is still small, but content is growing each week and traffic too.

So we are searching for a newswriter for the English site, who wants to write 3/4 news articles per week. You are free in your choice of subjects, but they have to be poker related of course. You can compare it to what pindarots is doing for this site.
We expect that this job takes around 2 hours a week and we are offering $200 per month (or equivalent in another currency).

We prefer an English or American newswriter, but we consider other applications too. If you have any more question or if you are interested you can send me an PM or send me an email to edonvanasseldonk(at)gmail.com

I r has a chart by DustySwedeDude, July 18

So I asked Pulda and Blizzy if anyone knew about this ICM/M/MTT and stuff and Pulda said he knew it. He printed me some chart about how many bb's I could shove from what position with different stack sizes. That'll own. I think Ket and Zografa from LP is still in, then some decent live pros from Sweden and some other live players. Other then that I think it's mostly randoms.

I'm just playing my 2nd uber turbo nl omaha tourney on stars. lol this is the best thing that's ever happened since sliced bread. starting stack is 500 and since i've started writing the blinds have increased to 25/50. it's basically flipping and this is the ultimate way to relieve stress. i love it.

Losing money by Sicks Macks, July 17

I ran like ass today and dropped like $800 or so. Then I tilt-withdrew another 1k. I don't need that 1k and I have no idea what to do with it. Suggestions are welcome.

I'm literally running so bad that I'm starting to believe that there is a first deposit rungood. I can't win 80/20s against fish for anything. I hate poker. I hate poker. I was this close to just taking 5k out and going back to nl50.

Puzzled by pluzich, July 17

This is a first post, so it needs to be a bit introductory.
I've started to play last year. It didn't take long until I realized that I like tourneys, and since then I am trying to improve, but apparently it doesn't go well...

So after the last PT3 update I started to play around with it a bit. Here what I came along:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/da63576684059467baf95a1126041fe7.jpg

First of all, are my showdown stats bad? Do I need to fold more?

Then, do I need to be more aggressive against a flop bet? How much should my fold% be against a flop bet?

Anything else?

Here is the second part:

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

+91BI NL100... Almost to Goal by Joeingram1, July 17

Almost have achieved my goal of 10K at NL100 this month. Last few days have just been taking it pretty easy and working on my tan. Still have not had a losing session since my big 53 BI downswing a few weeks ago. Have been switching back to 6max and full ring with most of my play being at 6max lately. I have also started playing some more HU play and doing pretty well. I started a session today and found myself 2 tabling 2 people and playing a few other random fish. Felt I did pretty well and was immidieatly down about 3 BI losing flips and came back to end about +2 BI so I was happy with that. Feel like my heads up game is improving alot, my results for just HU play at all tables is really good and I should probably try to play more in the future. I really wish I didn't have that big ass downswing, my 4.5ptbb/100 winrate would be like 6 or 7 which would be sick awesome but meh, can't change it now, just have to avoid having another one.

Last 40 BI I have just been crushinggggggggg hard, 10k hands +40BI

I am almost out of the negative on table ratings also finally, now I just need to not lose 10k+ at higher stakes and keep it positive when i get there!! I really wish they had all my nl100 hands I have played since september but o well, people can assume I am still down monies.

preparation method? by Big_Rob_48, July 17

What is the best way to prepare yourself for a night of sex? I am going to hang out with this girl on sunday night and it is basically agreed upon that we are gonna do it all night. Last time she wanted 3 rounds and I couldn't deliver round 3, just didnt want it bad enough.

So I was thinking like wank it maybe 2 times on friday, take saturday off, and be ready for it on sunday. I also have some crazy pills called stamina-rx that u can even buy in 7-11 stores and they make u hard as a rock even as good as viagra. I figure I will save those for round 3 if i don't have the energy haha.

Any of you guys have any special preparation methods to make sure u have stamina?

Goal for the next day or so by Elite00, July 16

Achieve one of the following:

1.Double my Bankroll
2.Lose my Bankroll
3.Fall asleep at my keyboard (many energy drinks + some dayquil to delay this)

I have 40 or so buyins right now for NL10, so hopefully when I'm done I'll have at least enough to play NL25 from now on.
