Girls by lewy313, October 26

I have problem with my girlfriend because she want control my life a lil bit to much. I love her but i need some piece of freedom. I try talk with her and show my point of view but she won't listen me :/. It is really painfull when somebody who you love cry because of you.

http://images44.fotosik.pl/219/88ba90805e85e90amed.jpg

Then I look at this photo and understand how much I love her. But I can't agree with every word she says. I know this is kind of stupid to write about relationship problem on poker blog but I don't want talk about this with my real friends :/

I think i need to write something about poker so it is my pokerstars graph

LOL HEADS UP by edzwoo, October 26

Small stakes heads up has to be the easiest game in the world. One thing I noticed is that although a 5k sample size means absolutely nothing in FR where you play 1 or 2 hands every orbit, you play about every other hand in HU, so my assumption is you don't need as big of a sample size to show if you have an edge.

Granted I'm not saying I have a 30ptbb edge because that's probably absolutely ridiculous, I noticed the NL50 HU "regulars" are BAD and they have 5-10ptbb edges... soooo that's saying something.

This is like free money.

PS: Waiting for doomswitch.

Who is with me? by LikeASet, October 26

November Plan. 150-160hrs of play at NL .50 6max. Goal - run at 4.5BB/100-6.5BB/100 while 4-6 tabling. WILL NOT 8+ table!!! (8+ FTL at my newb status).

Other mini goals...
STOP GETTING MAD AT FISH (sometimes I can't help it )
STOP PLAYING WHILE ANGRY/TILT/STRESSED (FTL!!!)
IGNORE AS MUCH GOOD PLAY/BAD RESULTS HANDS AS POSSIBLE
write down every ??? hand and super incorrectly played hand

72K hands, 3000$+ PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Anyone got any other similar goals for November? Who is with me?

Goals, are dreams with a deadline...

never's been a long time by CrownRoyal, October 26

I haven't played anyyyyy poker for the past 4-5 days but i hope my staker can understand. Ive had such crazy mixed results and 10+bi then lose 10 buyin days. playing 40/30/9% 3bet @ nl50 deep/ante tables is ridiculous variance apparently. I'm up about $350 right now over 12k hands or so which isn't the best winrate ever . The last few days have absolutely been about nothing but me and this girl

+ Show Spoiler +

She makes me feel happy in ways ive never felt before. She can make me forget all my other problems and Ive never been so detilted in a long time. ty life for the massive heater.

now i really need to play some serious sessions this week so it's time to head to the tables.

Start of HU last 3 days by Zalfor, October 26

So I recently made the switch from 6 Max to HU play. I'm currently 4 tabling HU and still trying to figure out how to play the game well. Right now, it's been really fun punting the shit out of my opponents, but I can totally see a bunch of leaks in my game. I definitely want to better my game and become a great player. I ran pretty well and I'm getting better, so here are the results of the last 3 days:

If anyone wants to talk to me about nl50, nl100 HU or 6Max def. PM me and we can discuss some poker stuff. I'm always down to discuss theory and have people sweat me / sweat others for a while.

Ouch kabibbles. by thewh00sel, October 25

This month reached up and bit me in the ass pretty hard. Bricked a bunch of tournaments, got 9th when i did FT something, or FT bubbled which leads to less than exciting results.

These results don't include 4k in losses that I had today so -20k ish in tournaments for the month.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/e6f48.oct.jpg

add that to some poor cash results and you've got my worst month to date, down 30k or so. It's my 2nd negative month this year which is annoying, and it cancels out all of my work from last month, and two months of not making any money is never fun.

Regarding poker, been insanely busy in work and not played anything this week, hopefully play some tomorrow if I can manage to get it off, or tonight if I find out im not working tonight!

sleepless run by Zalfor, October 25

After being sucked out on multiple times, and people hitting <5% against me twice and getting sucked out on 200BB deep multiple times I decided to double down and play for the long haul tonight. I ended up running really badly, but overall I see my HU game improving dramatically. I can make plays at people now and instead of being a nit life, I'm bluffing in good spots too. I'm improving and so is my winrate. Except the suckouts ofc...
