So I recently made the switch from 6 Max to HU play. I'm currently 4 tabling HU and still trying to figure out how to play the game well. Right now, it's been really fun punting the shit out of my opponents, but I can totally see a bunch of leaks in my game. I definitely want to better my game and become a great player. I ran pretty well and I'm getting better, so here are the results of the last 3 days:
If anyone wants to talk to me about nl50, nl100 HU or 6Max def. PM me and we can discuss some poker stuff. I'm always down to discuss theory and have people sweat me / sweat others for a while.

This month reached up and bit me in the ass pretty hard. Bricked a bunch of tournaments, got 9th when i did FT something, or FT bubbled which leads to less than exciting results.
add that to some poor cash results and you've got my worst month to date, down 30k or so. It's my 2nd negative month this year which is annoying, and it cancels out all of my work from last month, and two months of not making any money is never fun.
i been around so many people in the last 3 days i dont wanna see everyone. theres about 25 peopl next door at my grandmas and at this point i dont want to be offered food or a drink, im pretty fucked up already and i just wanna play some gambowl. gambowl is what my brother knew poker as
After the LP hack thing, I could not see lp.net via my usual DNS server, so I managed to get it changed and I can see liquidpoker.net. Its good to be back!
Regarding poker, been insanely busy in work and not played anything this week, hopefully play some tomorrow if I can manage to get it off, or tonight if I find out im not working tonight!
After being sucked out on multiple times, and people hitting <5% against me twice and getting sucked out on 200BB deep multiple times I decided to double down and play for the long haul tonight. I ended up running really badly, but overall I see my HU game improving dramatically. I can make plays at people now and instead of being a nit life, I'm bluffing in good spots too. I'm improving and so is my winrate. Except the suckouts ofc...
I realized again the difference between good players, bad players, 'n the whole essence of why a play is good or not; regardless of result. My life 'n win-tilt was obscuring it amazingly well for being such a core game concept..
Thanks Palak and Gororoorororokork, and even Loco initiated step 1.!
Guys need some advice. Looking to buy a new laptop and not sure which direction to go. Ive used windows computers for a while but im thinking of making the transition to a Macbook. I know PT is tough to run on there but I despise all the anti-virus crap that windows computers forces you to install. However, if it is the right laptop I will consider grabbing one. Any thoughts or ideas are warranted. Thanks guys.
with that said, i plan on not making another blog post until the end of the year unless it's me moving up to post my progess, or something unpoker related
My identical twin brother was in a car accident wednesday. he was pulled over broken down on sunrise highway in long island NY when he was hit from behind by a speeder. his girlfreind suffered a broken nose and 30 stitches. mike had a severe head trauma and was flown to a hosptial where he remianed untill friday 10/23/09 where he was officially pronounced brain dead. we are organ donars so he was able to save 8 people lives. he will live forever in them. he was my partner, my best freind , my only brother, and my whole world. i losdt half my heart that day and my life will never be the same. im torn apart. hel help me beat 10NL cuz im never ganna lose a flip anymore.
RIP Mike II Amen - the world lost a GREAT person that day.
I started this month with the goal of playing a good amount of hands and moving up to NL 25. I got bored and decided to move up before i had the number of buy ins that i wanted. At first it went well but that quickly changed.
I now plan on starting back at NL 5 and I want to play around 10,000 hands with discipline to see if I really should be playing cards.
If any other micro players want to exchange MSNs and discuss hands or other poker stuff send me a PM.
It's weird but I'm almost happy this happened. I am now going to play only the games I am rolled for, only play when I really want to and I want to get some real progress, not just play to get my FTP bonus and Iron Man for the month.
SO hopefully I will be back up at NL 25 at the end of next month.
I also have a $26 token from FTP and was wondering what tournaments are generally the best/softest to play.
