hey ive got 60$ chilling on Absolute Poker and dont want to pay to get a check. So if anyone wouldn't mind swapping such a small amount, pm me.
I will send first to respectable folk.
pretty cool for people like me , wo are semi good at multitasking and apm thingy but suck at putting hours into the grind.
Now i can just play a relaxed 1,5h and still pull of 1,6K hands a day
how the fuck do you deal with this shit...i havent been this tilted in months...over the last week i played 350 90-mans, and FT'd an avg of 20% of them...and profited 15 buy-ins...This is some of the best poker i've ever played, with some of the worst results attached to it...and it's getting to my head. I have not sucked out a 20/80 in 4 days now, didnt hit a set for 100 sngs, and just ran bad on what seems to be every FT. I've tried smoking, excercising, implicating stop-loss into my game, and nothing seems to improve my mentality..I'm feeling more tilted with each beat, and taking it more personally each time. I guess im just looking for other ways to vent...blogging might be the way to go...
"the greatest gambler in the world"by collegesucks, February 03
Today I met Amarillo Slim at Harrah's New Orleans and shook his hand. He seemed like quite a nice guy and a gentleman to boot. But the excitement of meeting a legendary figure blew over in an anticlimactic fashion when I realized that the game he was playing was 5-5 PLO. The world's greatest gambler, who once played for millions against the likes of Larry Flint and Pablo Escobar, is now sitting at some pathetic casino playing small stakes.
Tomorrow, I'm going to sit down at the 5-5 PLO game (which I've never played for any decent amount of money) and try to get a story out of him. Old guys usually love to tell their stories and I think it'll be super awesome to hear what he has to say. Besides, I always love good conversations at the poker table. It's definitely one of the best ways to enjoy the game we all play---certainly much better than being the douchebag with sunglasses, hoodie, and an ipod stuck in his ear.
BTW I had one of the best sessions ever at 1/2 today in terms of good play. I only won 1k, but those were all from winning multiple small pots. I may have hit the weaker parts of the villain's range a lot, but I know that I played outstanding poker for the most part. Also, a couple nights ago I took about $33 left on cake, played $16 sitngoes, satted into Cake's monthly $268 250K GRTD and busted 57th (QQ < AK, 66 > AJ AIPF) for a small cash (~$540), which I grinded up to 1k in two cash sessions. let me know if you want any cake money.
Hit 20 BI for NL25 yesterday but I was too lazy to type out an update. Apparently I was running way over EV through NL10 but it honestly didn't feel like it. I sucked out a few times pretty big but with all the coolers I took it didn't feel like I was running hot. I felt like I played the same game I've been playing since NL2 but with some small changes from what I've learned. Averaging $6.06 an hour over NL10 means that hopefully I'll finally be making above minimum wage at NL25!
Rush poker was introduced half way through my run through NL10 and at first I thought it was great. I played super nitty the first couple days and ran so good. But eventually I started running bad and decided that I'd rather play at normal tables than playing against unknown players every hand.
A big thanks to everyone who has been helping me out in the Low Stakes forum, it's much appreciated. I'm starting to see a lot more in every hand now. I have a pretty good grasp on what boards are good/bad to cbet and I'm also starting to see when it's good to float, c/r a cbet or double barrel.
Some of the more entertaining hands I had at NL10
Damn where's the bad beat jackpot + Show Spoiler +

Ive been 16 tabling nl 10 and nl 25 and cant seem to beat it. Loosing all my confidene @ 6 max. Ive never had any trouble, maybe its that im playing too many tables, highest i played before i started this blog was around 4-6 tables. Gona try and Get a subscription To a video site and watch some videos. Anyways heres my fked up graphs
Have finally realized my sports betting is a problem and I'm actually going to GA for it (insert LOLs here). Haven't played poker since Jan. 14th. Will probably be starting that back up tonight. Need to stick to what I'm good at and stop trying to get rich quick through sports betting. :/
1) ftp you pos, what kind of getto ass update is this. Instantly makes me regret transferring the rest of my funds here.
2) poker makes more sense to me. i don't want to jinx it or say anything ridiculous like i finally get it. but it makes more sense to me.
3) this guy is so tight -.-
4)life is kinda hard, i sorta stress about it. pretty much done with college and have a pretty worthelss econ degree :/
5) i work 40 hours a week helping people lose weight. it's pretty exhausting although to be quite honest, i really do love helping people make permanent lifestyle changes. losing weight is just a giant metaphor for a true personal change in one's actual life.
6) kinda forced to work this much to help my mom and dad out. this recession is pretty tough and even though i voted for that pos obama for some change, the only change in my life is me and my dad both have to pay higher taxes.
7) i don't really have any close ties with my family, ever since i was in highschool i've pretty much always had a part time job paying for stuff. i mean don't get me wrong i'm grateful for all that my ma and dad provided me. because it's only because they have provided me basic things can i take on these new and abstract problems dealing with transcendentalism/existentialism. i guess i wish me and my dad or my ma could be closer. actually we don't talk about anything. they are pretty simple beautiful people.
8) because of work i've never really had that many friends in high school and it's never really bothered me i guess until i went to college and saw for myself how close friends can get. it actually really gets to me sometimes. i feel ridiculously lonely and just want to scream is anyone out there.
anyway end bitching. existentialism pretty overrated. listen to this song yo
I decided to play fullring for the first time this month, and I'm already regreting...
I'm not running bad but the game is so ridic, everybody is nit and nobody pays you off when you have the goods
This month I'm gonna play 100K hands 18tabling
january was the worst month so far... I started grinding at the 8th because I was @ my parents for the holidays
Since my shots at NL25 weren't sucessful i decided to play NL10 again and start learing a bit how to play 6 max, because i guess it's easier to do this at the low stakes than later. I found 1 or 2 articles on the internet but they arent really good. So if any of you guys has a some tips or maybe knows some articles about transitioning from FR to 6 max i would be very glad.

I think this misses most of his range and I think I made a really bad laydown. His big bet on the turn confused the hell out of me.
This brought back a hand from yesterday where a player limped UTG and reraised me with KQQ4 and ended up hitting the nut 9-k vs my double suited aces so I was really wary of calling him down with only a pair. Thoughts?
He has 900 posts so I dont want to accuse him of scamming me just yet. About 2 weeks ago I transferred him $568 on FTP and was supposed to receive the same amount via cake. I never received the money and he said he emailed support to find out why. He hasnt contacted me in over a week, I have sent him 3 pm's during that time.
I was asking for a transfer of $1500 and he replied saying he only had $568 which seems very odd if he was planning on scamming me. What do you guys think? Do any of you have a history with this member?
