Kind of forgot to post a Jan update, but I've got some free time now so figured what the hell better late then never. Was a pretty good month poker wise, mostly thanks to the first 7 or 8 days of the month before I went back to University. School and partying with my buddies alot more has definately cut into my poker time. School is well school... I enjoy spending alot more time with my buddies and partying, but the actual classes are boring/not very challenging so I am pretty much just grinding it out. After I finish this semester, work a co-op the summer, then compelete my final two semesters in the fall 2010, spring 2011 I will finally graduate (Industrial Engineering), then who the hell knows. Just trying to grind as much as I can and put as much money away as possible so I have some options when I am done. On an extremely good note, I managed to get a engineering co-op position for the summer with Mosaic Potash near where I live. I have heard nothing but good things from people who have done work terms there in the past, plus its 4 - 10 hour days so I am excited to have 3 day weekends all summer. The pay is also pretty good(4k/month). Anyways, before I ramble too much, here are the graphs:
I am seriously peeved at interface between users/software/hardware. My relationship with the laptop is seriously irritating this month. First, I wake up one morning and HEM decides to revert back to trial status. It takes up 4 days of troubleshooting on a clusterfuck of googling, post lurking, email, reinstallations, and finally a teamviewer session with support just to straighten it out. That kind of sets me back goalwise for poker.
Just yesterday my google chrome stops working on start up while firefox + IE works just fine. It takes within 10 minutes of boot time for chrome to connect to the web. My tableninja somehow suffers the same problem, god knows how these two problems are tied, while HEM works fine at the time of start up. Still haven't resolved this one so tiltinggggggggggggggg.
So today I'm rockin to music on earbuds when I adjust my seating with my textbook on the cord. I get suddenly blasted by 10,000 hertz of infernal buzzing on the 3rd study floor of a silent library. Sound stops working, so I reboot and apparently had to choose an operating system now every time?
I readjust my volume slider only to find it sliding down from max to 0 in three seconds flat, sliding like a stripper down a greased flagpole. I open up word document and nothing was repeating so wtf? after a full hour of investigation and uninstalling/reinstalling sound drivers, I found out that I SOMEHOW inadvertently held down the shift key for +8 seconds and enabled stickey keys. There goes study time :

lol no one asked for it so far. working now and u only need autohotkey installed and its one ahk file u have to put into the postgres folder where the postgres.exe is and all the .dlls are, then just create a shortcut for the desktop. this thing has cured my constant clicking of the cashier, hem for $$ and hand updates. vpps are not working for some reason though, but it's easy to disable anyway just edit this script in notepad to your liking. then msn, pm or skype me if you have any questions about this. i just wanted to share to anyone who grinds tons and finds this useful. its from dave's hem stoploss script btw and not my creation.
3 months running extremelly bad, I feel like my game is 300% better than november when my doomswitch started, but there's no sign that will get better again, it's only getting worst everyday
know that this sounds like another random fish whinning, but man, this time unreal things are happening everyday

in this last three months I've read CTS book, Kingsofcards book, and saw lots of DC and bluefirepoker videos
Actually I'm really confident in my game, and everybody that makes sweat sessions with me thinks that my game is pretty solid
I'm just feel like my Aces is gonna be cracked everytime, everytime I hit a set, the fish will hit a higher set or a straight, and this is what's happening

So I was enjoying this weird dream I had last night where I was getting laid with an old female roomate I had in Atlanta for a while. Strangely enough, it was all going down in a house in Tennessee that I used to share. I guess the problem was that she wasn't very hot so my brain jumped to a poker related dream. It was all well and good as I started winning pretty quickly. But then the weirdest shit kept happening. I was having trouble keeping my chips stacked up in front of me. It was like I was spending 80% of the time trying to keep track of my chips and how they were stacked. And then the chips started changing sizes. I musta had 6 different sizes and denominations in front of me and I was frantically trying to keep it all organized so nobody would be able to swipe any during confusion. Also, every time I looked away then looked back there would be another tower of chips and they'd be out of order too! Then some asshole to my right tried to help me stack my big money chips and I got pissed and left...then woke up. Crazy OCD dream.
Also, Im trying to get an audition to deal the WSOP this year and Im also working on trying to score a spot dealing the next few circuit events. We'll see.
Still running like shit, HS-shots doesn't work out. My NL-game might be a little off but in the omaha sessions I think I've been +ev, at least 2/3 sessions (and probably all 3, but I'll give it the benefit of doubt) but the cards just won't do what they should. PLO400 is also just lol, I guess I spew a lot there overall but it'd be fun if I could win one damn flip. Also, since Appleturk seems to read my blog I'd like to state that yes he tends to own me and no that doesn't bother me to much. He seems to be such an angry person so it's good that he at least makes money playing poker instead of getting in drunken brawls and such.
Funny thing is that I'm actually showing a slight profit so far, despite those number, thanks to bonuses and such. Omaha rake is very high, I guess.
I guess I'll probably either grind mid stakes for a while or put down the number of tables and figure a few things out by actually paying attention to stuff.
Random anecdote about friends
Jocke, the guy I know who seems most attractive to girls per looks (ie: gets more action despite questionable looks) takes the same course as me this semester. This is fairly funny since I was sure he was probably in a ditch somewhere drinking his life away. I like him, he's easy going and fun to hang out with.
School
Fucked, might've fucked up a little test due to not sleeping the night be fore in favor of reading sci/fi classics. Looked at my quick notes with calcs I made and I'm fairly sure that 20*40 isn't 400... Doesn't matter though, just a small one and I can redo it in a month or so.
BJJ/Health/whatever
Been doing BJJ 3 times a week, havn't worked out more then that. I guess I'll try to go to the gym tommorow. For some reason my sleep schedual is all fucked up though, which kinda sucks. I might take a break from the hardcore grinding, go down to maybe 3hrs/day poker and make sure to actually get around to hit the gym once or twice every week. Sounds good.
Not that amazing until you here how it happened. On Saturday she found a $20 bill crumpled up on the side of a the road. On Sunday she found another $20 in a bush in a store parking lot. This morning she found a gift card in a store parking lot that had $34.97 on it. Yes, three days in a row. Time to play the lotto?
