HAI GUISE by Sicks Macks, March 08

Hey, I've pretty much stopped playing poker. I suck ass (1ptbb at nl100), and it stresses me out, so I haven't played in a month. That said, I still lurk the shit out of lp, so I wanted to say hi.

I hope you guys all run good, I'm just jamming out to Wale. Enjoy this jam. Obviously I'm drunk.

Recovery! by player999, March 08

Was getting absolutely raped at the 23s and 34s today, worst downswing in my 10k+ games. But then found a huge fish at the 115s and butt-raped him! Bumhunting is awesome(fuck you haters)!

Week 1 Update by SugoGosu, March 07

So I made a promise to myself to take things seriously in poker. No more mass grinding. I want to be a good poker player, and playing 16 tables is not cutting it. I'm playing 4 - 6 tables (average of 5). I want to be agressive with my bakroll and get up to $3.5k minimum by June 1st through online / live play. Right now I'm overing a little over $300 on my stars account and a little under $100 on my FullTilt Account.

So here's an update since I made this promise.

    *Re-subscribed to DeucesCracked
    *Watching Busto to Robusto NL
    *Watched the Hudless videos
    *Bought the Poker-Blue Book

Overall, I can tell my skill has gone way up in the past few days by playing at most 6 tables. However, I'm currently running bad right now. all the 2 outers all-in preflop has happened, so in and so forth. But this isn't affecting my play at all. I don't go overboard and tilt my money away. I move on, and I'm find and content because I know I got my money in good. I'm really only worried about my EV, being results oriented isn't good. Of course if I have a good day I'll ship some money on some nice food or whatnot (fuck the dollar menu, give me a big mac!)

Here is the graph since March 4th when I want to take it seriously.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/user_pictures/0d84a.seriousweek1.gif

then I also got $20 in Stellar Rewards so $102.45 so far.

Goal: $3,500
Week 1: $102.45
Left: $3,397.55

Here's one Ambient Band for those who are interested:

floribus? by Highcard, March 07

So if you google floribus you come up with a site that says it has a build for an AI that can 24 table. Never heard of it but i wonder if it is just like that guy who was selling "holecard revealers" for like $500, now they have this program for $280 that plays for you. I don't know if the site is virus ridden or not so search at own risk. If anyone knows more about this discuss.

(I found out about it from comments in PTR talking about their new Premium)

switch back to none turbos... by Chobo1, March 07

I may have quite a few leaks when I 25 table turbo sngs... there are a lot of different opponents with many different shoving/calling ranges and I definitely have forgotten how to play the equilibrium ICM way. (I used to use SNGEGT a couple yrs ago that literally told me in real time what the equilibrium push/folds are whilst 8 tabling...but now the real time app is banned) So all I have now is SitNGo Wizard which is not giving me the perfect equilibrium push/folds because its not taking into account that your opponents might know your push/fold ranges...so I'm actually pushing too wide in certain spots

So it's back to none turbos for me

I've been dabbling in the $4.4 180s and mixing in the $5.5 27/45 mans and I find them much less stressful. I think it's also helping me play longer hours and actually put in some real work hours. around the peak hours I can easily play up to 35 tables at a time without any problems; So I want to at least play 75 sngs/day for the rest of the month

graph of $4.4 180s & $5.5 27/45s
