Due to the recent eCheck bonanza, I cannot withdrawal using this method, and I am forced to do wire/paper check only. So, instead of waiting a few weeks for one of those stupid paper checks, I'm asking to trade my Stars for your PayPal, even if that means losing the extra $$ from PayPal fees. On another note, I've finally started playing a good volume for the first time in my poker career too, so wish me luck guys.
A week ago I decided to leave Stars finally and move to Merge. A site with higher (WAY HIGHER) RB than my goldstar bullshit. But I decided to leave $50 on Stars => You know, nostalgia and stuff. But then I found out my debit card doesn't work and I will have to wait a week for a new one in order to be able to deposit. So I was left with $50 @ Stars, just like in the old days and I just made a challenge to do something with that money, and run it up until I get my card back and can deposit money I withdrew to Merge.
My strategy was different from the two degens that decided to have a run at NL50 HU at this site.
-Start at NL2 BSS, 16 table, and $2 HU SnG
-Add some NL10 SSS+NL25 SSS when I'm tired ( never played SSS but a monkey could do that. I have 0 Respect for Pokerpoopy being anything special)
-Once I had around 18 BI I went for NL10 BSS
-Once I was below that, I went for NL5 BSS because SSS sucks balls
-for FPPS I would buy into Sunday 1/4mil Hyperturbo 235FPP sats. With winnings I would unregister, and trade with LP or play HU SnG.
-I'd play also HU SnGs, $2-$10 I played like 40 of these. Its also a good way to trade in your T$ for 100%
-If I didn't stop, I'd keep grinding NL10 and move to NL25 at 20BI
I ran like shit at NL10 6max, some 10BI below ev (that's a lot when you play with 20BI roll) and pretty much broke even there. I also noticed that no matter what stake I play, being attentive is super important, and when I 20table 6max NL10 and watch a movie at the same time my win rate is slashed to almost breaking even.
The same lesson comes from HU SnG, at the micro level its pretty much only about having patience, finding a counter strategy, sticking to it and not snapping. Beating the 100VPIP fish or maniacs is also much harder than in Cash HU, as if you wait for too long to play just non-marginal spots you blind out.I had some epic battles including a 1hr $5 SnG vs a solid micro grinder which went into 100/200 blinds in a regular SnG.
It was quite hard getting used to 20 tabling when I 4-6 table almost always, but I was freaking obsessed with the re-grinding so I stuck with it. I didn't feel fired up for poker like this in a very long time, and it was really surreal and I didn't shave or go out almost at all, a true obsession
I think I ran out of gas for day 6 when I couldn't focus on 20 tabling 6max, and had to just go for some 4 table crushaments (the spike at the end). Imo if I played 5 days fulltime with 2day no poker weekend it would be sustainable to keep this up and be attentive at the same time, but i was too drained for the 9k hands day 6.
So anyway, I started with $50, and after 6 days my Stars roll is at $250, for a decent NL10 tilt roll. My debit card has arrived and its now time for Merge, where you get a ton of hands on the same regs because of the small player pool and where NL25 HU is present and the fish/reg ratio is higher.
Still it is good to know that if I do go totally busto, there is always a way back for me
Now I am back to LP (sorry for not replying to PMs guys, I was submerged in this thing ;o), and my usual 4tabling routine and stakes, just on a different site, but it sure was fun to start from the bottom once again and to know I can do it

and finnaly more to poker, ive had the best (i think?) pokermonth so far in my life, atleast pretty close to my best one, and ive played over 110 hours and OVER 50k hands wich surpassed my goal of 35k hands. so im pretty proud of myself have been grinding it out more then ive done in a month for like 4-5 months or something.
ive only been playing 1/2$-3/6$ this month (no 5/10+ cuz it fucked me over hardcore in december), mostly on this swedish site but also last couple of days ive finally got some of my roll over on Ongame with eurosuperpoker which just merged with ongame (ongame is growing alot).
and there is running a shit ton of games there so thats nice, catched a sick good heatersession this morning on ongame as u can tell from that graph so ye i feel good about it. will put down alot more volume on ongame later, since there is like running 40+ games above 200NL, compared to the swedish site im playin most of my hands at run like 6-10 games above 1/2 at best, and u need to sit there for hours trying to get more games started wich is a pain in the ass since every fucking reg on the planet instasitsout when its 3/2handed and no one will join if u sit and wait at a table..
21,000$ in the green this month! nice recovery after losing alot in december i feel i start to get a hang on 2/4 atleast for reals now as i have put down alot of volume there now in the last 6 months.
i keep failing at 5/10 but ill get there hopefully

Well Poker seems to be more and more attactive for me again lately since the site isnt going nowhere anyway. People are so sick and tired of classifieds and that type of thing and since ive been so out of the loop it was first and last error - which further drove my obssession to make it work by spending more money on it lol. I might go for the retarded route and grind vpps (not even sure if that'll give me profits). Going to start tomorrow with it and try to maintain supernova if i can. 7kvpps is tough when u play 50nl fr.
Anyway a 2p2 midstakes solid winning FR reg msged me on skype that he wanted to move to the Philippines with his GF whos apparently a Filipina born in the U.S., they plan to stay here and study and needed a local to keep them safe and show them the ropes here in the city where i live, he wants to pay for my services but im willing to take live coaching sessions instead, i hope it pans out.

Before you make a website about anything I haves ome tips:
-Idea should be unique, or at least target a specific demographic, anything very broad and vague without a solid base of registered users is rarely ever going to take off
-Site should be coded well and should be very SEO - friendly, I mean if you can't be seen, how the hell can they know they like your site
-Spend money on the site platform, don't use wordpress, smf, mambo or other free shit that's out there, No one will ever take it seriously, no matter what your content is, people take a look and just feel its made of some free crap, without coding theres nothing much out there for you to use on those free platforms anyway, if you plan on making it profitable spend. gone are the days where u get "lucky"
-content is king, if content is just copy/pasted stuff all over the net, people will know it.
