I just tried 6max and i can say i love it, i'll focus more on that from now, right now im multi-tabling NL10. First session up +2,5 BI in like 45 mn. Players on pokerstars are much more ez to play than PP, can't say much for the moment since i only spent 45 mn... i'll grind the tables there for the rest of the month and put aside my world class donkament career.

I saw a vid where a guy could see what cards his opponents folded and mucked, is that poker_hud ? any help welcome.

I went back to work 1 week ago now and all i can say is: it sucks hairy balls. I hope i'll be good enough at poker to make it a living in a couple of years, whatever at least i'll try hard. here are a couple hands for the session today:

I don't expect much response from this question lol but thought i would pose it anyway...i was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me a small stake of 20 dollars or so for me to grind the FR tables on pokerstars...i know i can beat them and if u stake me i would like to pay you back 50 dollars if i get a roll going again? Today during my session I got a huge bad beat, and i just closed the table and continued to play as nothing happend, no nervous, no tilt. Some time ago i got nervous for any lost penny.

I'm playing more tables now, 4 now, 5 before the bad beat. Using my "1 table/20 dolars" system. Playing more tables is forcing me to play bigger sessions. when I play 2 or 3 tables, when i win a a small pot i used to end the session, this made me play varius small sessions a day. Playing 4 and 5 tables, winning a small bet hardly compensate the other tables blinds, and stuff. Since i have to pay attention in more tables, time pass much faster.

I decided to stop posting like a girl too, but this is not a blog only aboout poker, it's about personal growing. Ok, really stoped now.

Ok so I watched Memento last night and wow was that a total mind fuck. The movie was put together really well for being totally backwards. Yeah, the movie is basically played with the ending in the opening scene. Weird huh?

Partypoker is in the past, for now..

Cashed out 1000$ from there (All my bankroll). I was kinda tired of the site, to be honest I don't really trust them. I once tried to get some money out with "Check by Mail" option, and it never arrived. His support by e-mail is pretty dumb and never answer my questions, I think it's automated.

Also his SnG and tournament fee is a joke, basically impossible to get good winnings by playing SnGs. Good thing was the very loose players they say but...

I did a 70$ deposit to PokerStars just to feel the software before I deposit enough to play NL25$ (gonna be somewhat like 400$ more). So far I've made like 50$ from NL 10$, people basically go all in vs me with 32s and 58o. I even tried some NL25$ table and it seemed really really loose (I didnt win anything though cuz I never got good cards, just payed the blinds once). I think I'm gonna like it in here .

And of course PokerStars support ruless. I did got the check by mail that I requested unlike Party. So everything seems that's gonna go very smooth ~.~ and hopefully I can beat NL25$ here

Omaha: Shortstacking pl 25 and pL50 with occasional max PL10.

SNG:

Hold'em-5 and 6 sngs, all sizes are fine. The occasional $4 180 person tourney sounds good.

Omaha'em-i never see any running but 3 dollar ones if i ever see one.

Tourney:

Hold'em-up to 5 freeze outwithoccasional 8, 10 freezeout and 3R

Omaha: Anything 5 or below.

I had been transferred $30 literally 41 minutes before the tourney.

I had lost about 170 over the last 2 days. 70 while drunk(oops). Not sure what my plans are with this money. I had told myself not to play cash games. I plan to plan some MTTs. Ill play up to $10 freezeouts and maybe the 3R, not sure. I'll play up to $10 sngs. I'll continue to learn omaha by shortstacking, but now at the .25/.50 tables.

If my approach is not optimal, please tell me. The omaha advice was from a omaha shark so I am keeping that.

BTW, i'm fucked for finals later this week. o well.

Well i played a lot for last 3 weeks and i am going to review my progress so far. I've been playing mostly on Party poker lately because i like their software ( fast, easy to multitable, resizable by choice,PO without troubles..). I only lack the fact, that they are not offering any clearing bonus like some other sites do (hollywood/tower are best for micro NL gamers i thought).

OK, so whats happened interesting? I tried NL 50 for a few days, but it was not any good and i had to move down (twice or maybe three times). I can see, something major is wrong with my game, after like 70K hands i can easily see (PO) how badly i am overplaying cards like AQ,AJ,AT,KJ,KT,SC and i see this as one of my biggest leak in my game. It wouldn't be that bad if i wasn't such an aggressive jerk... My post flop aggression is far to big (4,8;2,4;2,3) mainly because i am trying to win every pot on flop/turn (river bluff) so often. Its good strategy if one want to get know, whats going on overally in poker (because when u play like this for a long time u start to see, when to bluff or start to see what a fisshy players u are trying to bluff sometimes).But for me its clear, that im overplaying so many types of hands, that i am happy that i am still in positive cash balance.

My biggest leaks:
1) Overplaying hands like AK,AQ,AJ,AT,KQ,KJ,KT,SC ... sometimes playing for stack in raised pot...dumb.
2) Too aggressive with my good hands on turn vs aggressive opponents.
My aggressive style means something like Push or Fold = 6% went to showdowns , this is what i don't understand. How could some of the top players have this stats 20-30% ? Here is my Database of last 40k hands. Could anyone check my stats and give me some advice, what to change to make my play better?
During these 40 k hands i tried 2 strategy. First Loose aggressive style (30 vpip, 27 PFr, 4 APF) and tight aggressive (20/17/4). Looks for me, that on low stakes is better to be more tight and add some more tables instead of playing more hands and be less likely able to multitable. Any thoughs about this?

Hey this is my first entry of my poker blog. Watch as I donk it up in the low limit world of online poker.

I got started playing 5 dollar sngs on party poker about 3 years ago and quickly lost my first 300 bucks. I improved a little and eventually became a break even player. After a little more tinkering i was 12 tabling the 6 dollar turbos on pokerstars. I made a decent amount of money doing that and now i am 12 tabling the 10 cent 25 cent games on full tilt. Its going ok and hopefully ill move up in limits soon. You can find me as verygudhokie on ful tilt.

So today I started off playing my session at around 11:00am, and used up 5400 fpp's to win a $215 seat to the Sunday Million. Nolan is right, those things are cheese cake to win. So the Sunday Million was once again a total failure. I searched all morning for people to swap 5% with me in it, but apparently most people are starting to become aware of my less than stellar recording in cashing in tournaments. The only person to swap 5% with me was my boy actionDJ (more on this later). I went out rather quick as it basically went like this: I raise, donkey calls me, I c-bet the flop, donk jams, I fold, and repeat x10 til all my chips were gone. God I hate that tournament so much... Out in 6421st place! I'm so talented yo~

To make matters worse, I was getting destroyed at my NL400 tables at the same time. Nothing was going right for me, it was just sick. I ran QQ into KK preflop twice (although one was vs Weak Tite and I am pretty sure that it was probably a bad shove on my part considering his 3 betting range is much tighter). Made a very marginally thin value bet vs a donkey who happened to have it. Got abused by Daut for about an hour (why the fuck is he playing 2/4 today?) And to top it all off, my boy actionDJ who is very tight/solid for the most part decides that he wants to donate some moneys to me, but ends up running godly and totally owning me in this hand:

Yeah, i just had a really really long talk with my dad and basically, he offered me the opportunity to live with my aunt in Cancun. pretty much, he wants me to go live with my family in Mexico so i can sharpen my spanish until i'm fluent and understand the culture. i would work at my aunts restaurant and live in their kick ass house. i'd probably take a few classes as well

nice, i'll hang out with my cousin who are the same age as me.

The thing is, am i going to be able to play poker? i think so, i just told my dad "i'm going to buy a laptop to play poker" and he kind of gave me a face like, ;/ bwahahaa

this is going to own so bad, i can't wait. the date is pretty rough since i need to get a passport, so the date is early to mid august, (my birthday aug 27)

maybe a mini-rek story will emerge, mexican style! though i lack the story telling skillz~

for the next couple months, i'm going to play poker LIKE MAD holy shit. i'm looking forward to this. my goal is to play at least 3-5k hands a day 4-8 tabeling 25nl at least

No poker in this blog, fuck poker i suck.

So last night was prom. Gay, I know, I had a lot of fun though. Who cares about the prom anyway, it's just a really good excuse to get drunk.

I picked my date up at about 4pm and we took what seemed like a never ending amount of pictures. Finally we got out of my house and we went to eat at Tokyo, which is a really fancy habachi japanese steakhouse place. Asian people are just really cute, I would love to work at that place just to be around the cute asian people. Anyways, back on track, we ate and believe it or not, took some more pictures because there was "really cute bridge omg" outside of the restraunt.

Then we went to my date's mom's house and... Took pictures. I hit on her mom like any sensible prom date would do, Moxy skills +1. We stayed there for a bit and then headed to the prom which i fashionably showed up to 45 minutes late. When I got there for some reason everyone was just being lameasses and sitting down so I instantly started breaking it down, straight up gangsta style - and by straight up gangsta style I absolutely mean like howerton off of fresh prince, that guy's a pimp. I did the typical dance stuff, you know, grinding with all of the girls while all the other guys sit scared at the back of the room, I never understood that but I was too busy enjoying myself to figure it out, so I just dropped it.

We finally left prom at about 10pm I think and i was ever so giddy to get back home and start the festivities. Things started out pretty slow though because we didn't have any alcohol except a half fifth (a fifth is 750ml for you non hicks) of jager which I drank about 3/4 of. I was off to a pretty spendid start and when the alcohol got there I continued the barrage of attacks at my liver, Leonidas himself would have been pretty impressed with my BAMFness. Yeah, BAMF.

My beer pong partner 4lyfe cheated on me and played with one of my other friends, I was totally planning on me and him making the hall of fame (winning 10 games in a row) Last night, but he was a jiggity jackass and so I partnered my friend craig who is basically billy bob from varsity blues made over. Me and craig played till he had to leave and at that point most people were gone except a few and I ran my prom date home.

Somewhere in there we did hang out although I didn't really mention her any, we played circle of death for a while and she can drink a lot for a girl, i was impressed. I got back out to the party and it was pretty dead except a little group of people who like me wanted to party hard until they passed out. My memories are getting pretty blurred here but about 30 minutes later someone told me that there was a guy at my prom date's house and she didn't want him to be there, coupled with the fact that she was drunk and it was 3am I was furious (me and my date are really good friends, it wasn't like a boyfriend girlfriend type deal) and I had someone drive me to her house and I sprinted in and the guy came out of her room. I don't remember what i told him other then that I was going to kick his ass off of this balcony type deal we were on. The faggot threatened me with a gun and when i got up in his face and said "shoot me then" the guy snap folded his bluff and tried to get me to shake his hand, what a fag.

We got mica and we left back to my friend's house that we were partying at and his parents made us all start going to bed (gay) I snuck off for a while with some of my friends but everyone was being gay and it was cold so I got back and the owner of the house, my friends dad was pretty pissed at me but I cuddled up in the floor and went to sleep.

We woke up at like 8am and they made us breakfast, awesome, it was great and like the champions we are we went back out into the garage after breakfast and continued drinking, I decided that KFC sounded pretty awesome, so we went and got KFC. It was awesome.

We got back and played some basketball, but then we went in the house and I took about a five hour nap, woke up, watched National Treasure and came home.

All in all I had a fucking awesome time, I wish that gay kid would have fought me though.
